Well, sorry for that, it should be up soon, no need for hours but you can check sunday evening and i believe you will see it, it will be live with the next update cycle hopefully finished during this week that will include all the thinkpads that i support.

Ok guys, here's a quick update related to audio:
I patched the audio and it is working perfect as far as i have tested, no high pitch noise/crackling anymore.

Same layout-id 28 (1C) that we used, combined with CodecCommander.kext and the latest updated ALCPlugFix.

I also patched it and Dock Audio works, however one issue that i have right now is that auto switch works perfect but there is an issue with Inputs:
If i have the laptop docked, if i plug headphones on laptop combo jack, sound works fine but the mic won't work from the jack, you have to plug them in the docking station combo jack to have microphone input.

The reason is that both Dock and Laptop Jacks Inputs are LineIn and some codecs have problems with that.

Im trying to make the Dock Input show as External Microphone/SPDIF In/AUX or something so we have perfect auto switch working.

Another T440 user here.... the T440S EFI works very well so far, but I'm definitely looking forward to having the second battery working. Many thanks for your work on this!

It's been 3 weeks that i had no weekend, this one i had only Sunday free and pretty much did sleep half of the day to recover from the over exhaustion, i did do some decent work on the T440S, X240, T440P and they are pretty much ready for update however i will do a final check tomorrow and add T440 and L440 guides as well unless something else takes that place on my to do list.

About audio, for now there is no way to have two jack inputs working, so the Docking Station Jack will only work for audio output (headphones, speakers whatever you want) but the mic from headsets won't.

Laptop Combo Jack works perfect, no static noise and auto switch working.
Speakers now have very good volume (maybe better than on Windows too !?/ will let you test that one and get feedback).

As you are working towards finalizing the T440, may I remind about the Mic Mute Lamp on the keyboard, which the lamp is not working to indicate the status even though the F4 button itself works great to mute the mic. That is whay I have in my T440.
Others that might also a cause for check:
1. My case of " System Variable Storage Corrupt" in random instance of cold boot.
2. A short alert sound that triggers everytime I restart or shutdown the machine.
3. WiFi card (I am using Airport Card CS2) that even though is connecting to WiFi but have a very slow close to no internet speed.

I never experience the above when using Mojave with Clover prior to this OC. I might plan a fresh install, yet waiting for 10.15.6 if it will be launched as the case with Mojave 10.14.6.

Thanks.

1. My case of " System Variable Storage Corrupt" in random instance of cold boot.
I believe i fixed that, didn’t show up anymore for me, it is supposed to be the “BlacklistAppleUpdate”=Yes quirk which is now replaced with AppleEFIupdater=No NVRAM variable.
2. A short alert sound that triggers everytime I restart or shutdown the machine.
Not sure what this is about, I don’t have this problem.
3. WiFi card (I am using Airport Card CS2) that even though is connecting to WiFi but have a very slow close to no internet speed.
I have BCM94360CS2 as well and i have 0 issues with it.

Maybe a clean install may help with some of these problems.

Have you disabled the:
- AirportBrcmFixup.kext
- BT4LEContinuityFixup.kext

and the Bluetooth ones ?

Since you don’t need any of them.

Also check sysprefs > Energy Saver > Power Adapter > uncheck wake for network access.

Wait for the update, hopefully i can publish/update them tonight and i assume most of the problems will be resolved aside those that may get fixed with a clean install.

Hello, Sniki.

I have long time been tormented by the question about WiFi module.
Please, tell me which one to take for the T440 model?
As far as i know BCM94360CS2 would be perfect choice but wondering will it stick out from the back cover since the adapter will also be there, correct me if I'm wrong.
Another plus I think about the future so that I probably worked with the new Big Sur system.

Thanks in advance.

For BCM94360CS2 you need the adapter, there is a special one which allows you to place the card somewhere else, where there is enough place to fit it.
Here is the link: https://a.aliexpress.com/_dSwqNsl

however there is a same version of that card but in NGFF format, that is the BCM94360NG which fits and is sized the same as the intel one and works out of the box, even instant hotspot works.

search for BCM94360NG AliExpress, eBay or Amazon.

the choice is up to you.

both do seem to work fine even on Big Sur as far as i have researched and seen from words of other people.

Guide has been updated, Check Post #2 for Changelog,

Enjoy !
