...or Sapphire 11293-03-40G Radeon Nitro+ Rx 5700 Xt 8GB GDDR6 Dual HDMI
Sorry for replying late... I didn't get emails when you replied on this thread for some reason.

So for a 5700 XT, these are my recommendations to get and NOT to get.

To get (the higher the better)

Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 5700 XT SE (I have one)
Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 5700 XT
Asus ROG Strix Radeon RX 5700 XT
Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT Gaming
Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT Aorus
Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 5700 XT

Ok cards

ASRock Radeon RX 5700 XT Phantom Gaming D
Asus TUF Radeon RX 5700 XT Gaming X3
ASRock Radeon RX 5700 XT Taichi

Cards NOT to buy (starting from the worst)

Any XFX Radeon Card (they have horrible thermals and are really loud)
The MSI Mech cards (they have really thin heat pipes, therefore get really hot)
Sapphire PULSE BE cards (they have thin heat pipes as well)

You could then wait for Big Navi in the future, and get one of these for now

Good choice!
louiefriesen (sorry to hijack the thread a little) I was reading this through as all of my parts for my 1st Hackintosh have arrived and I wondered if you would mind looking at them and giving any advice for the build and especially the installation of OS before I start?

Sure! Start a new thread and list the parts.

Thanks!

I started a thread a week or so ago. I only had one reply!

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/first-hackintosh-will-this-build-work.300307/

I hope the parts are OK together .... I based this on the CustoMac in the build section of this site. Most things have arrived over the past few days, just waiting for the MB and RAM which are both due tomorrow.

Any thoughts, especially on the installation, would be great. I am a general user, nothing specific but my old iMac was slowly dying and I felt a Hackintosh would give me lots more for the money. I aim to install Catalina.
