Eglobal S200 Nuc Intel i7 8750H / Mini PC Compatible?

First, Intel specs uhd 630 at hdmi 4k@30
Second, hdmi 1.4 which we have on board can do only 4k@30
How come you get 4k@60?
;) I have no idea about that. This HDMI indeed output 4k@30hz in Windows. But MacOS can receive 4k@60hz. It is very strange. Maybe this hdmi is a FAKE 1.4 ? I'm sure that uhd 630 can support 4k@60 on hdmi2.0. Maybe this hdmi is 2.0, but the mainboard has done something that restrict the signal in Windows. I guess.:crazy:

It is very strange. UHD 630 cannot support HDMI 2.0(https://ark.intel.com/content/www/u...h-processor-9m-cache-up-to-4-30-ghz.html).But many devices with UHD 630 can support HDMI 2.0(e.g. mac mini 2018) for they have DP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 converter in motherboard. I test my S200 with 1080p monitor and an old 4k LCD TV.
It can only support 4k@30Hz with HDMI 1.4 cable and 2.0 cable.
However, When I use RDM to fake my resolution, monitor can receive 4k@60Hz in 1080p monitor and 4k TV with blur.
I really interested in that whether dp 1.2 can support 4k@60Hz 10bit monitor in MacOS.

Seems an error not actual support as on my screen above. My monitors resolution is 4k max but as you can see from screen it supports 6k or even 7k

Big news today, new version of MacOS somewhere in fall 2020. Anyone enrolled in the beta program?

Yes, apart from SATA support which I have disabled (not using it).

Hi all,

I made some tweaks to the system, cleaned the SSDT PLUG and added CPU friend and CPUfriendfriend to improve power management. Now low frequency is set to 800mhz instead of 1,2 ghz which was always de low end. You know probably what to do to get it working (smbios, serials, maybe USB port kext replacement).

Good luck.
