Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

Let's try asking this question here. Using this card, REKONG macOS Continuity WiFi Upgrade 1.3Gbps AC BCM94360HMB, I can get WiFi via the stock PCE slot of a 9020 USFF. The BT function shows up in Windows 10 and Mint 19. The BT in Catalina reads "Bluetooth Not Available." Since the BT is not OOB, one is forced to experiment with BrcmPatchRam3. But these Catalina-specific kexts date from last year.

That said, if those .kexts don't work, you really can't try other remedies or improvements, such as mapping the USB ports. Ideally, you should see BT Host Controller right, as in this example:

If that's the case, then I am stuck before I can create a custom USB port kext. (It doesn't look that hard now.)

Hi guys. I have an HP Probook 6560b, that has a BCM94322HMS wifi card. It is apparently whitelisted for the HP, and worked fine in previous installations, and is considered a Apple compatible card. However I just can't seem to get it going in either a Mojave or Catalina fresh installation. I have AirportBrcmFixup installed, have tried Clover's AirportFix and every combination of AirportBrcmFixup + FakePCIID + FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext I could, but nothings working.
There are so many deprecated methods that it's hard to figure out what's going on, but I have a feeling that I need some kind of DeviceId thing to get it recognized. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

Could someone help me with my Fenvi T919. I have bluetooth working and Wifi but Airdrop only partially works. I can send any file from my hackintosh to my iPhone but I can't send large files like large videos from my iPhone to the Hackintosh. I can send photos and other small files. when I click my iMac on the airdrop menu on my iPhone it keeps hanging at wait. I've tried logging out and logging back into iCloud but still no luck. Any guidance?

Go to post 1 on this thread. DW1820a is listed. The WiFi should be fine with the mentioned Kexts but Bluetooth may require another kext or two. Post your results after you get the card and then see if you need extra help.
My latitude have problem with the dw1820a. Its slow down and sometimes run in to a problem.

In addition to Mint Linux, if I boot the Optiplex 9020 in Windows 10, only the WiFi required a driver (via Asus support). The BT worked OOB in Windows 10. That means that the only real problem here is USB connectivity in Catalina.

But again, seeing how this card works well WiFi-wise, it seems worth the effort. But there is no way of knowing if mapping the USB ports will help. Can someone explain that?

I just bought the AW-CE123H from eBay, it should arrive soon. I'm gonna follow the first post guide, hope it works. I have a almost full working HP ProBook 450 G5. The only thing that isn't working is WiFi+BT.

Hi, I am new on hackintosh world.

I’ve install Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4 on my Latitude E6330. Everything Works, except Wifi.

By default, the wifi board is Intel Centrino N 6205 ( Intel Wifi doesnt work yet), so I replace this board and putted Broadcom 4311/DW1490 (In Teory Works on Mac).

After install kekts, Wifi shows in every place, like the instalation was sucessful, but I can´t see any network at all.

Please, somebody help me to fix that.

Sorry for my bad english, I’m Brazilian.

I hear you. But the ASUS spec for the MB says "Intel Wireless-AC 9560" which surely means it is the CNVi connection standard. So how can it work in the connector?

Also on Amazon I asked a direct question and got a direct NO:

https://www.amazon.com/ask/questions/asin/B083YXS7VF/ref=ask_al_saq_ql_hza

The module suggested will NOT operate in the Intel CNVi slot on this Gigabyte Z390 I Aorus motherboard.
Z390,h370,b360 and newer chipset support CNVi for faster and cheaper wifi by intel, but some vendor still make motherboard with dual support, asrock phantom, strix z390i use intel CNVi 9560 AC, but the socket it self still support old m.2 key e for old M.2 wifi like DW1560 or bcm94360NG.gigabyte z390i aorus doesnt support old m.2 key e,CNVi only. Now we still waiting someone to test on z490i,gigabyte fixed only support CNVi, hope asus, msi and asrock still have dual support for old m.2 key e like on z390i series

Hello all.

I have purchased and installed this card: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08428ZJV9/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

Currently it shows up as a usb device, but the bluetooth says "Not Available."

I know the internal usb port is active as I had a different pcie bluetooth card in there that did work. I would like to use the card linked to leverage bluetooth 4.2.

I am running Catalina 10.15.4

Any help on where to start to get this up and running would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using any Bluetooth Kexts? Did you create a USBPorts.kext or ssdt for USB?
