Intel NUC 10 Frost Canyon

First boot screen after BIOS update to version 41
After update I noticed BIOS settings switched to defaults, so before starting I got them back, so I didn't experience any Apple panic.

By the way, in regard to sound, yesterday I killed much time trying to follow instructions how to get pin layout under VoodooHDA and achieved some insignificant results. Posted a new topic in Audio forum.

I made the changes. Still the same :/ Everything works except this damned resolution :/
Let's work backwards. Try my EFI and let me know if this gives you resolution control. Then we can figure out why. also check your BIOS settings. What do you have for the three entries under video?

Has anybody started playing with the Intel drivers from this Post? I have tried just about all of the ones can I can get my hands on either pre-made binaries or compiling my own but no luck in getting anything to load up and show the WiFi. I'm hoping getting a few other people to look at this we can have better luck.

I was just going to ask about progress with this!

in the meantime, is anyone using a solution for wifi other than an external dongle?
thanks!

Tried your EFI. Same sadly. Max is 1920x2160. I am stuck at 1080p. As for the 3 settings in bios.

IGD Minimum Memory - 64MB
IGD Aperture Size - 256MB
IGD Primary Video Port - Auto

Darn, hmmm the BIOS is the same as mine, now I am on an i7 version which should be identical except for having to spoof the CPU for compatibility. Let me do a couple of other tests on my setup. I have three different 4K(ish) monitors I can try and see if they all work correctly.

There is an app called Display Menu on the he App Store. I wonder if you tried that would it allow you to force it?

Also what are the make and model of your monitor?

I appreciate you taking out the time. I've tried to force is using display menu as well same issue. It gets set to the 3840x2160 but horizontally it gets squashed. The 4K monitor is a Philips Brilliance 328P.
