I can't get this to work on Catalina 10.15.5 it stopped working in 10.15.4 - system freezes in boot up screen
The Bless Tool sets the name of the startup disk in NVRAM. If CFG-Lock is enabled (i.e. MSR 0xE2 is locked) and the native NVRAM SSDT is not present, then this will occur.
Unfortunately, this also means that boot options 1 and 3 in your previous post are most likely still present at the Clover Boot Menu.
Suggestions:
If the macOS installation boot options (1 and 3) are still present, it will be necessary to download the 10.15.5 combo update from the Mac App Store and install it -- after unlocking MSR 0xE2.
- Unlock MSR 0xE2 either by upgrading BIOS to F9h (from TweakTown; search this thread for "TweakTown") or
- Unlock MSR 0xE2 with existing BIOS by following the procedure in this micro guide.
- Enable native NVRAM by following this procedure.
F8h has MSR unlocked by default.I did the bios update
All looks very good, except that i can no longer enter BIOS at boot So i cant actually disable cfg in the bios.
Might just leave it be until the next bios version comes out and re-flash
Right now, I am on 10.15.5 and all is stable
Some immediate observations:
- SSDT-UIAC.aml should be disabled because you're using USBPorts.kext. This is a minor issue because USBInjectAll.kext is not being used, but should still be done.
- SMCProcessor.kext and SMCSuperIO.kext are missing from Kexts folder. They are part of VirtualSMC.

Glad to hear it. OpenCore is shaping up nicely. Even OpenCanopy is looking good, but still needs work (for example, it does not show names of Tools).Hi Casey...
I started over with your config.plist file.
Then I modified the "OC" folder for my needs, and then I used the "Proper-Tree Master" command that you see in the image and magically fixed the config.plist file and there are no errors.
What can I say, I'm very happy, a big thank you to you Casey, and I think Opencore is the future!
Wish I knew how to use CrScreenshotDxe.efi. I assume that it's used for screen captures, but don't know what key triggers that.
Thank you! Previously I tried F12 and SHIFT-F12, but not CTRL-ALT-F12.FYI:
This DXE driver tries to register keyboard shortcut (LCtrl + LAlt + F12) handler for all text input devices. The handler tries to find a writable FS, enumerates all GOP-capable video devices, takes screenshots from them and saves the result as PNG files on that writable FS.

If you're using HWMonitorSMC2, please expand the sections for CPU and GPU and post a screenshot (CMD-Shift-5). Also ensure that any Soft Power Play Table for the Vega has been removed.Got my Red devil 5700 xt to replace the Vega 64. Just remove the old one, remove the KEXT and AML regarding the Radeon improve performance. Now my scores on GB5 regarding the processor are down low, really low 4432 multi, also the processor temp is steady at 90deg C under no low load...
Any ideas????
Bios version is 8 thinking to update to 9b..
thanks for any help
