[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Formatted the USB Drive, did all the steps correctly, press F12, get the boot menu, but It would not boot. I get to a black screen then few seconds later it drops me back to the menu. I do not have Mojave installed, I do have Win10 pro on the machine, with extra drives. I've also gone through the procedure to make a bootable Mojave USB installer, same issue, would not let me launch it, brings me back to menu. Anything in BIOS I need to change?
Just trying to build a hackentosh, but so far its been great PC. Please help.
Also after trying this, my machine could not boot. It kept on rebooting then launched Win10 and asked me to reset BIOS so I did.. weird

But I only saw F9h there, I saved F9g last week, please see attachment.

Thank you so much. Going to try that one... you are the man.

Cool that appears to work for the second card! I'll leave the DROM the same for the first card so they are on separate buses.
Do you have a full hotplug now on both cards?

Please, I need your help...
Since the UAD Apollo quad silver (TB1) doesn't work with Titan Ridge, I decided to try to add a GC-Alpine Ridge rev2.0 on my z390 designare. At first the card wasn't detected even in the Bios (F9h)... so I flashed the GC-AR BIOS chip with GC-ALPINE RIDGE-NVM21-V3-NATA.bin. After that the card appears in the BIOS. Without DSDT, the Thunderbolt bus appears correctly in the system profiler and the UAD Apollo is correctly detected when powered on but I can't use it under OSX... So I used the DSDT in the micro guide and customized the DROM section. Everything seems OK...

But.. first time I power on my UAD Apollo, the computer reboot suddenly.. after the reboot the Apollo is connected and everything seems to work, I can power off and power on the Apollo without issues. But if I shutdown everything, tomorrow will be the same... Even if I power on the Apollo before the computer, it will reboot suddenly after login...

Any idea ?
I precise that I only flashed the GC-AR. Do I need to flash the z390 Titan Ridge too ?
Many thanks for all the things you're sharing in this thread !

Yes, iGPU and dGPU are both enabled. We set iGPU to "headless" mode where it is used for computational tasks, but not for driving a display monitor.

For the iPhone/iPad sync issues, please describe the problem in some more detail.
- I tell you, when I plug the iPhone or iPad and go to Finder to view information for iPhone/iPad, sometime I have a error connection... but today work correctly. It's a randomly error....

- Other question,in iStat menu doesn't see the temp or statistics of 5700 XT. I tested with AMD GPU Menu V0.85. But, when open, I have error...

Thx!

I have successfully used the guides in the files here to get OC 0.5.9 running on my board. I edited the config.plist and the kext directory to add support for my Intel 520 10G card (SmallTree driver). The very last thing I'm having difficulties with is audio. It worked when I was running clover on this same install.

I have all the outputs, including the HDMI output audio, I've even plugged in headphones to the front line out plug and I can't get any audio out of the system. When I connect my Bluetooth AirPods to the system I can get audio...

My. boot-args are stock

Code:
<string>slide=0 keepsyms=1 dart=0 debug=0x100 agdpmod=pikera alcid=11 shikigva=80 igfxfw=2</string>

Suggestions?

Thanks I was looking for old beta versions all over the internet but can't find anything after it's updated and not on tweakrtown... a little weird actually. I'll try to find those posted here..
Post to this Thread on TweakTown and somebody will post the beta BIOS for you:

Paging @scottkendall.

The only time I had that type of behavior was when I was using Thunderbolt without a header cable or when I tried using Thunderbolt with it completely disabled in BIOS. Your issue might lie somewhere in there.

Hi Casey.
I installed Opencore 0.59, with some minor changes.
When I start the computer, in the Bios screen, it gives me an error and I can't understand what it is.
I am attaching the config file of opencore.
However, the computer starts the same.
With Clover I didn't have this error.
Thanks...
