I've actually switched to OpenCore completely, which doesn't use that driver.

Any chance you make an updated post for OC? I tried doing it myself but ended up reverting back to Clover.

When in sleep mode, does fan still spin? And LED is still on? I have the same MB and when sleep, display is off but fan is on, LED is on.

Sleep and Shutdown are working perfectly. The H100i v2 is alright, though i've been experimenting with a 5.2 GHz overclock and it definitely struggles to keep the i9 under control. I have actually even added an additional fan on the other side of the mounting bracket for a push/pull towards the in/out at the top of the rad. Last night my Cinebench peaked at 99c on one core, the rest were mid-80's and low 90's. Not ideal, but not totally detrimental. I am currently planning out a custom loop, which may end up being soft tubing just because of the allotted space in the H500i case. Alternatively, I may grab a pair of the non-poo colored Noctua fans to replace the corsair fans mounted to the rad. Most definitely a cheaper option.

Hi MESwan,
I've same configuration (from yesterday) as follow:
- Z390 Aorus Pro
- i9 9900Ks
- dual Vega 64

All right.... but sleep/wake don't work.
In my last stable build (in signature: Z370 Aorus Ultra Gaming with i9-9900K) all was perfect...
Now I'm problem with sleep... after few seconds (2) system awake with no reason.
I unplugged the NZXT X63 USB connector, but problem persist.
Can you share your last EFI Folder (with no personal data).
I'm using 19.1 SMBIOS, and all work well... (BruceX Test about 7sec etc).
The only issue are:
- sleep/wake
- randomic black screen (but I turn my monitor off and on again... and it works...); the same problem I had with my last build with just one Vega 64 and seems a 10.15.4 bug (same with my genuine MacBook pro, with second monitor)
I use Opencore 0.5.8.
Looking at your original post #1 seems that opencore version you used is old version (may be?) so I'm asking for the last EFI version.

Can you help me?
Thx in advance
Natale

@MESwan Could you please also share your EFI folder that's for OpenCore?

CPU Fans spin, but at a much lower RPM.

You sleep issue won't be your NZXT's USB connector, it's an improper implementation of SSDT-UIAC.aml / USBPorts.kext causing your controllers to poll the devices even though they should be released (temporarily), or in a low power state.

I have Z390 Aorus Pro with i9 9900K and Sapphire Nitro RX580 with headless settings and iGPU disabled. Everything seems to be working for the most part with the exception of one very annoying thing. I can't preview or open any jpeg images with Preview. Anyone else getting that problem? Any known workarounds?

EDIT: Solved, enabled iGPU all fixed.

Glad you figured it out. When configured in headless mode, macOS uses the iGPU for QuickSync and some processing stuff (like Preview). You either need a kext to fix it, or enable iGPU in Headless and in BIOS / UEFI

Thx for your reply and for your EFI.
No luck with your EFI folder... :(

But... great suggestion: I did new patch with SSDTTime.
Now seems works well. I removed all the previous xxx.aml and put in patched folder only the 3 new .aml file generated by SSDTtime... Works well!
Sleep/wake works!
Thx again and "ciao" from Italy

how it's going in Texas? In Italy, now, seems Covid is going out... Hope same in Texas.

Have you strange reboot (random) when your hackintosh goes sleeping?
Often I've randomic reboot while sleep... (before wake). I'm the only one with this issue?
