that's a no go, and i think this break the mic through the earphone jack too, i have changed it back, i think this pin needs to be enable, its not quite a plug and play thing i think, hope someone find a solution for this, as having the audio jack in front of the box isnt really ideal, and i have installed windows, and it works fine

Alright everbody I have an update!

For starters, it turns out that both display ports are working, and dual monitors do work. However, I was using a display port to DVI adapter and that was what didn't work. If both connectors (HDMI and DP) are using naked connections, they work fine for a dual monitor setup. I tested this with a DP monitor and an HDMI one.

I have DP->DVI working perfectly with UHD 630 on my HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Mini. I discovered that the trick was to use connector-type = DigitalDVI (not DP).

dual screen? or just the one, if just the one, the dp port works perfect, it just gets tricky when we try to use 2 screens

dual and triple works perfectly. See my thread. This AGDP patch was required for multi-screen (with SMBIOS MacModel MacMini8,1).

Also, video ports are hot-pluggable.

There are no problems remaining to solve on my MacMini8,1.
