Thank you. I’m not sure what the numbers are but when I had Sierra the final cut wouldn’t install?
High Sierra is the later version of Sierra......

Where did you get FCP X from ? Install the FCP X version that works with High Sierra. Newer Catalina versions obviously don't work because they're not supported.

so what are you asking?
I was asking about the graphics configuration and was simply replying to the kind people who reached out. I now know Understand more but confused slightly but my task today is to try and revert back to high Sierra. Thanks everyone

you should be able to boot into recovery on your mac and then wipe and resintall, it will probably download macOS that came with your machine but then you can probably upgrade to High Sierra:

or direct appstore link:

Thank you, the machine won’t boot at all as a deleted the Macintosh HDD leaving just the data HDD. It won’t even boot now just sows the circle with line through. When I hold options on startup there is only one disc the “data HDD” thank you all for your help so far. I really appreciate it

Thanks for the reply I tried all sorts. That’s the options and R right? I’ll try it again now. Thanks

Thank you it’s about to re install Mac OS X Lion but asking to select the disc to install lion. There is nothing there? I’m guessing I need disk utility to remount it? That could be tricky?
