Hello! I have had a lot of issues with trying to install Catalina from the start, but I eventually got the boot drive created (using UniBeast 10.1.0) and booted up the drive and then tried to load into the Catalina installer, and it continually gives me the apfs_module_start: 1689 error and will not load any further. I have an MSI Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon mb with an Intel i9-9900KF cpu, and I read that a lot of z390's don't play nicely with macOS Catalina, and I have tried to get it to work with no luck. After many many hours of tinkering and searching through every single thread I could find on here relating to the issue and trying numerous different EFI folders, changes to the config.plist, kexts, and just about everything else in between, I still cannot get it to work. I have now gotten it to give me a screen saying "SMCSuperIO" after the same 1689 error line, but it still does not boot. I have tried every solution I can think of and am here now to ask for help. I have attached a screenshot of the current screen it is giving me, and a copy of the 3 separate EFI files that I have tried (they're all in the one EFI's.zip folder), modified, and changed. Any ideas on what to try next to fix this issue? Thanks in advance!
