Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

Hello, I have Broadcom BCM94352Z installed in Lenovo ThinkPad E580. With appropriate kexts both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are working, but BT4.0 devices cannot be connected while Wi-Fi is on. If turn off Wi-Fi and then connect BT4.0 device it will work. But when turn Wi-Fi back on, BT4.0 will work with interference (mouse pointer is laggy). For BT3.0 devices there is not such problem.
Any thoughts how this can be fixed?

I bought CSR8510 Bluetooth USB dongle that is working with Mac out of the box. I removed Brmc Bluetooth kexts and deleted all related .plists. Strange thing that it continue behaves exactly the same:
  • When Wi-Fi is turned on - BT4.0 mouse cannot be connected
  • When Wi-Fi is turned off - mouse can be connected, but after re-enabling Wi-Fi mouse sometimes works with interference
  • If disconnect mouse and then try to re-connect it - it will not be detected. For successful reconnection BT needs to be turned off and back on. Behavior is the same with Wi-Fi on/off.
So it looks like problem is not in BCM94352Z, but with MacOS itself. Maybe someone have an insight on how to fix it?

I recently loaded up 10.15 on my Lenovo T550 and replaced my WiFi Intel Adapter with this "MacOS Hackintosh For Broadcom BCM94352Z NGFF WiFi Card 1200Mbps 802.11ac BT4.0" from eBay. I for the life of me cannot get this to work, nor BT or WiFi. Nothing I have tried works. I loaded the kexts in /Volume/EFI/EFI (boot), OS Vol /Volume/macOS/EFI, /Volume/macOS/Library/Extensions, not working. This could simply be a case of misunderstanding on my part. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

By chance can I ask you to post your steps to getting this adapter working? And possibly any config.plist changes or challenges? Maybe I have something checked that’s preventing me from getting this working. Idk. And Before anyone asks, I did read through tons of forums posts and did loads of googling. But so much information out there is different. I’m asking you because you have a Lenovo with the same model WiFi card. Thanks much.

Welp, it seems the adapter is DOA. I tried on Windows and Linux, no dice. Doesn't even show up as an unknown device. So... I ordered a new one from Amazon and requested a return/refund from the eBay user. Hopefully the new one will work!

I have just bought a Gigabyte Z390 I Aorus Pro Wifi (ITX MB) which comes with the Intel® Wireless-AC 9560 card.

I expected, since it is a recommended MB, that there would be a Hackintosh compatible replacement for this Wireless card, but I can't seem to find a reference that mentions one.

What is the alternative to the Intel to get a Wifi/BT connection working on this motherboard? I have a sneaking suspicion that the Intel connector CNVi, is not compatible with any M.2 Hachintosh Wifi compatible module. Is that true?

Thats correct, you will need to use a m.2 adapter (NVME slot), or PCI card.

Is it possible to use, as I found in a search "used a Dell DW1560 (which is a rebranded Broadcom BCM94352Z) " directly as a replacement for the Intel Wirelsss-AC card, IN THE SAME SLOT?

I understand what you're saying about the m.2 adapter, but I want to see if I can avoid that approach

You motherboard has a proprietary Intel wifi connection. Physically it is the same M.2 but electronically it is not. So the card you got will not work in that slot. Only CNVi devices will work in that slot. You are left with PCI-E x16 slot to utilise if you want wifi/bluetooth or use external USB dongles. Bummer.

I have never heard of such thing ('CNVI'), but they do seem to exist. Does it completely block non Intel WIFI card? or does it cause problems in the WIFI connection?

My motherboard is https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z370M-ITXac/#Specification and I have replaced the WIFI module with BCM94360NG. (without knowing such CNVI restriction & I don't think my MB has that restriction according to the specification)

Once I replaced board WIFI with new BCM94360NG, WIFI does work somewhat (both WIFI & Bluetooth). However, Wireless soon drops connection once in a minute, and eventually it cannot connect to the internet. According to other users and the seller, the BCM94360NG WIFI card should be natively supported by MacOS. More importantly, this WIFI card works perfectly fine in Windows in my dual boot, but it does not seem to work well in my Hackintosh.

It drops connection often, and then it eventually shuts off. (I can't seem to turn WIFI on). I wasn't sure if this could be related to using 'CNVI' type that you talked about. Do you think such CNVI could cause this problem?

don’t waste your time on that card and all of the headaches trying to get it to work.

Plug & Play Hackintosh M.2 NGFF... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083YXS7VF/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

Use the one above in this link, it works out of the box with no additional kext files.

Does that card suppose to work when my motherboard has Intel LAN (which is enabled with IntelMausi.kext)? Everyone was recommending that card, so I recently bought that card, and installed in my MB.

However, internet connection drops like crazy, and eventually it cannot connect to WIFI until rebooted. I am unsure if this is due to conflict in Kexts or due to Wrong ACPI configuration.

My kexts.
