[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I can ping my other Macs, just not this hack. No anti virus, Internet protection, or security software installed.
Please type ifconfig and post the output. You may remove ether (MAC) addresses from the output.

You physically pulled the plug from the wall, fed the dogs, came back, and it was still glowing? You have Ironman on the left and perhaps his Fusion Reactor on the right! :)
No kidding, right.... I'm going to try it again (tomorrow) but with a time-lapse setup with my DJI camera, I have to see how long they last..

Okay V4 reboot done.
Thunderbolt empty, PCI does show the items on the (e.g. Ethernet), Dock won't respond when a USB is plugged in.

Log output attached.

As you have a biggest 1200W PS, that probably included biggest capacitors that we can imagine, you should press power button (case button not power supply) with power cable unplugged to quick discharge them :)
Actually I did press power, and reset, flipped the power switch on the Power Supply (cord detached) to try and drain the cap, but nothing seemed to impact the flow of juice to the memory.

Does detaching the 24-pin motherboard cable help?

I'm not worried about the MAC address...

That doesn't seem to have made a difference unfortunately
  • Is native NVRAM enabled?
  • Are KernelPM and AppleIntelCPUPM checkboxes unchecked in Clover Configurator --> Kernel & Kext Patches?
  • Please post screenshot of /Library/Extensions.
  • Also feel free to compress and upload your CLOVER folder from EFI partition of the Catalina SSD. You may remove serial numbers from config.plist prior to posting.

Does detaching the 24-pin motherboard cable help?
Let's find out. In the photo you can actually see a 24PIN cable detached, that is a remnant that needs to be cleaned up next time I take the unit off the wall (not a simple task unfortunately)

Let me get to a true Cold Boot.

That's progress!

The first Ethernet port (i211, closest to WiFi antenna port) requires SmallTreeIntel82576.kext. The other one (i219, closest to orange audio jack) requires IntelMausiEthernet.kext.

Which one is not working?

The i211 is not working
i will try the Kext

Any way ro controll the case Leds?!

I was able to detach the Aux 24v and the 24pin and that got me to zero. Attached is the log from this boot.

With Version 3 and Version 4 I've not seen the Ports in Thunderbolt (SysInfo), is that expected? I would think not.

Please try this:
  • Enable Firewall from System Preferences --> Security & Privacy --> Firewall
  • Then click Firewall Options... and make sure the two items in red are unchecked.
  • Then disable Firewall once again.
