Thanks for the quick reply @Covalt The weirdest thing is that I just read from the other forum you created that you were having trouble with your FT919 too. I say weird coz that makes the 2 of us (among the very few Z390 Xtreme users). Now that makes me think about its compatibility with our motherboard instead of a USB mapping issue, but I'll only be able to know it after I try your EFI.

Anyway when you say so-so, what do you specifically mean? My problem with it is that randomly my bluetooth Magic Mouse 2, Magic Keyboard and Sony XM3 headset would just stop working and then if there are USB drives connected, they would get disconnected too. The only way I could fix it is to restart it by Screen Sharing it from my MacBook or Mac mini. So frustrating, especially if I am in the middle of doing some work.

Most definitely! Took me a long time to get up and running, but with a ton of help from @pastrychef and others on this forum. See what you can get with the EFI I'm attaching.
The Fenvi card only works so-so. I've basically found a way to live with it (the bluetooth just won't work consistently so I'm also using a separate USB bluetooth dongle for that).
Good luck, let me know if you run into issues, I might have experienced them myself and have an idea!

That doesn't do the trick either.
My trial is up on PlistEdit Pro, so I went back to Xcode, thinking I'd be able to do it there.
Maybe I need to chalk up the $30 for PlistEdit Pro?
But shouldn't Xcode be able to do this?

You can edit plists with text editors like SubEthaEdit (free from Mac App Store). The value I gave you will need to be entered as Base64.

I did a lot of work with @UtterDisbelief , mapping out all my USB ports, a lot of trial and error, and eventually came to the conclusion that the USB header on the motherboard is "fighting" for control. He made a suggestion that I could try plugging the USB cable off the Fenvi card into a port on the back of the motherboard using an adapter, but I never got around to that. Once I figured out that I could use this ASUS USB-BT400, I just stuck with that and moved on.
I did get a replacement Fenvi from Amazon just to make sure my original wasn't defective, but it behaved the same way. I know the bluetooth was working to some extent with the Fenvi because I could connect devices, but it was always brief and would never work reliably.

As for WiFi with the Fenvi card, it's worked well. The only frustrating thing is I can't do File Sharing with my other Macs on the network. Really annoying when I want to access files on a drive that's connected to my MBP or MacMini. I'm not sure that's the fault of the Fenvi card or not though.

This USB map may be helpful for you (I say "may" be helpful because I crossed out some labels that were inconsistent when testing so I'm not 100% confident these are right, but this is where I got):

Does the Asus bluetooth work with Continuity, Handoff, etc.?

Does the Asus bluetooth work with Continuity, Handoff, etc.?
Yes, but not reliably.
I just did a test with Universal Clipboard; I could copy text on my iPhone and paste it on my Hackintosh, but I couldn't go in the other direction. Handoff seems to work though (I see the app icon on the left of my dock on the Hackintosh).

Thanks for this info man. Will try them all over the weekend and update you how far I come. Cheers!

hey @jdapolo , how's it been with your hackintosh? Did you find time to dig in?
I've been wanting mine to be more reliable; too many small things trip me up and when you're on a project and just need to get work done, you don't have time to troubleshoot.

Thus, I've been using my Macbook Pro, but really wishing I could take advantage of the power in my Hackintosh that isn't being used.

I've considered pulling the trigger and just buying a base model Mac Pro from Apple and then putting in my Radeon VII and the 64GB of ram in my Hackintosh.
I've also thought about swapping out this motherboard with another one that is more common so that I can just mirror someone else's setup and use their EFI.

Things that sometimes work, sometimes don't:
bluetooth. Still no luck with Fenvi card, so I rely on the usb dongle which works, but not consistently and often hangs.
audio. Sometimes I'll get consistent good sound out, and often I get crackly sound that hangs and stutters
networking. I need to file share with my Macbook Pro that has a Thunderbolt 1 drive connected to it. Sometimes it shows up on my Hackintosh, and sometimes it doesn't. Drives me nuts, because when it doesn't show up, I can't work on the Hackintosh.

Seriously envious of anyone that has a 100% reliable hackintosh, because I really don't want to drop $6,000 on a mediocre machine from Apple, but I need reliability.

OH SNAP!
Just a little more digging around and I finally found a 100% solid solution to my bluetooth problems!
I saw one person on another thread suggest installing the Fenvi T919 drives on Windows 10 and then they worked in macOS. I started up my Windows 10 drive, having disabled WiFi and Bluetooth in BIOS for Windows profile as well, and installed the T919 drivers
I ALSO, used the giant antennas that were plugged into the motherboard Wifi and plugged them into two of the ports on the Fenvi card... figured having the extra signal boost from these large antennas couldn't hurt.
Started up my macOS drive and the bluetooth works 1000%. Super strong signal, super responsive keyboard, Apple Watch unlock works, handoff works, everything I've been wanting to work for months is finally working!

To solve audio, I plugged my Klipsch speakers into a USB port instead of using the mini jack and that is taking care of my audio problems.
As for networking, I've been able to just use cmd+k to connect to my MBP since it doesn't always show up thru bonjour.

And to think I was actually looking at the $6k Mac Pro because of this mess.

@pastrychef wanted to ask you if there's anything I should be aware of or do before attempting to update to 10.15.4?
I'm using your EFI (mostly, though I've had to modify a few things for myself), and so was curious if you had any issues updating to the latest?
Other than backing up my EFI, do you recommend doing a complete backup of the OS drive?
Thanks!

You shouldn't have any problems.
