Hello,
I same config with you and use your EFI but on booting on macOS I get kernel panic.

I don't know how to help You, Sir. I don't get kernel panic.

Hi all,

I'm not sure if this is Hackintosh related or software I'm using but I'm experiencing random crashes. Sometimes I get full 8hrs of work without any problems but sometimes it's crashing like 2-3 times a day.

Could that be RAM related? I'm on 3600mhz 32gb on memory.

It doesn't happen on Windows at all.

I Have the same problem disable xmp and try again. I get same crashes wit xmp 1 now trying xmp 2.

I had success with the same hardware and since the author of the post didn't upload the EFI folder, I'm uploading mine (with the required boot flags)

The only change I made before uploading was to generate new serial numbers to avoid duplications.

I replaced the standard EFI folder that comes with Unibeast with the one you provided and it took me to the "Clover Operating Systems Boot Manager" menu. I clicked "Boot MacOS Install from Install macOS Catalina." It started booting in verbose mode. I saw lots of different text lines some of which said things like "File does not exist" and various error messages before rebooting and taking me back to the Boot Manager menu. I see a lot of different options in this boot manager, any advice on tweaking them?

Thanks for you help so far!

Hi,
and first of all thanks for that share that led to the furthest point i've been in booting my config !
I reach the disk utility point where i've been able to format my disk and launch the installer.
Unfortunately it stops near the end : "there's been an error in the preparation of the installation".
Well... ok !
The fact is that I can't even erase the disk to start all over again (9Go are occupied... i believe this may be the installer...).
Any clue please ?

NB: i'm a newbie that never entered a bios 3 days ago... plz be kind :D

Following my post/reply to @buda_sk8 , I have a bunch of questions for you folks !
1 - is the nvram.plist file joined to buda's EFI file has to be on the boot key or is it supposed to be copied later on the mac preferences ?
2 - can someone (with this exact config) share its asus user profile so I can upload it ? Is it anyway an idea ?
3 - the fact i'm using an i9 9900 (no K) and that I had so to add another cooling system : is that affecting bios to the point i would have to change some settings comparing to you ?
4 - can someone explain me (or show me a link) for I can generate new serials before uploading ?
Looking forward to reading you !
Thanks !

So ! I keep on monologuing...
I answered 3 & 4, thanks to all the information in this blog.
Trying to boot with Catalina, I had the error The bless tool was unable to set the current boot disk (-69793). Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again.
So, after a while I decided to do an install with Mojave. And it worked fine ! Apart my RX 5700 is not recognised... which is a pity for this config is for video editing and post-prod !!!
As far as I understand there will be no sake for this card but Catalina...
I saw the post for updating directly from Mojave and at last that what I'll do.
But if in the meantime I can get a piece of advice on what not to miss I'd be delighted (hoping I will not get the 69793 error...).
Cheers !

I have this same hardware and I have been in strugglesville for days to get the OS installed. This pic is where I'm getting on the boot install. Dgpu is currently plugged in but I'm running off the iGPU. My monitor won't get a usable signal when plugged into DGPU. It seems no matter what EFI I try, I don't get very far. Currently using the EFI from this thread because this is the exact same build I am attempting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, take what I say as it comes from a beginner.
What happened for me is that it worked when my screen was plugged (DP) to the Sapphire and the USB Boot in the front panel.
Then, assuming your bios is rightly set up and you use unibeast as recommended, you may experienced a The bless tool was unable to set the current boot disk (-69793). Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again. message. It's ok, restart. Clover will show you the install key, the os and an other os - data. Boot from - data for this second time. And when prompted to boot again, do it from the normal OS boot in Clover.
Do the multibeast things...
So far, I'm here looking for the ways to properly delete the - data partition, setting up the usb ports, and trying to find out an other boot mystery...
Good luck if you ain't already installing your softwares !
