Are you talking about high Graphic Memory uses under MacOS?

I have read people complaining anywhere and it looks to be something annoying. But I have real Macs, an iMac in office and a MacBookPro. And booth uses almost all the Graphic Memory available even at idle. It is how Apple intended to MacOS handle Graphic Memory, I supposed.

I can send you some screenshots of my MBP.

after sleep momory are reset I find only this option for now.

Can someone with a Vega 64 test this SSDT?

Use the same procedure used above but without rename PEGP to EGP0.

Thank you for making this SSDT. I saw the device path you create a new GFX0 is _SB.PCI0.PEG0.PEGP.VEGA. For my motherboard, the location path of my GPU under windows is
ACPI(_SB_)#ACPI(PC02)#ACPI(BR2A)#ACPI(PEGP)#PCI(0000)#PCI(0000). Do you have any idea on how should I modify the device path accordingly?

I have bit of a different config than yours, but I’d be interested in your EFI. I was trying to use this method before without any effect. Could you send me your whole EFI with your kexts, ssdt Placements and config.plist? Thanks

My configuration is a combination of other's work. CaseySJ and mattystonie. Absolutely everything works on my Desinare. Thunderbolt 3 and thunderbolt 2 drives enclosures work and can be hot patched. Sleep does not disconnect either USB or TB. Sleep works. It is pretty much a real MAC. Message, apple store, app store are good.

Without any of the SSDT patches or the SSDT everything's stills works but no hotpatch for TB2 and none of the usb 2 posts work which killed my BT 4.0. I use Protools, Logic, Sibelius, the Full Adobe production suite with no problems. With mattystonnie's Vega patch there is a noticeable improvement with photoshop plugins and in premier. Catalina 10.15.4.

Yep. Besides the colours are messy, my 4K monitor is dealing with 5k resolution, which is causing flickering.

Is the true resolution is 4K or 5K ??
Try to start with the same display resolution as the true resolution ... to get rid off the resize or sub-pixel out of the equation

Just reporting.

I was searching the Web for a solution and had read a lot about EDID, basically is the way Displays are identified. And there's something faulty in the way MacOS uses EDID. There's a lot of documentation about it on web. That EDID error was my problem.

There's a clever way to create an EDID for your monitor using Hackintool! There's a Tab for displays, and it creates a kext to fix things.

Ioreg copy pls from MacOS. I think PCI0.BR2A.PEGP.VEGA is the correct patch.

With Geekbench 5 my 5700XT went from 38k to 65k in Metal and 38k to 60k in OpenCL.
This is not affecting the Luxmark results and I think because its an old benchmark tool anyway, nor Engine Heaven but all good.

Thank you very much for your response @lightmanrt ... Hmm, still no success, or only very minor steps. Went from 48k to 51k on OpenCL/Metal (approx.). The boost with RB was much more significant, but the noise from the fans was bothering me. Even with VGTab, I experienced issues with Lightroom, that crashed the computer.

I made some adjustments to my configuration. Changed the SMBIOS to iMacPro1,1, but still, mediocre results.
