I want to install macOS Mojave on this laptop: Asus VivoBook 17 N705FD Whiskey Lake. I don't know if it's working. I've been trying for a few days but I coudn't get past +++ End randomseed error. Now I want to start from scratch. What I did before was to download from my mac mini macOS mojave, and then I used some EFI with Clover from one tutorial and after that I added/removed kexts and drivers.

I think the first problem was that this motherboard can use AHCI or Intel Something in bios. Right now I have installed Windows 10 which I wish to dualboot on my m.2 SSD. After I switched to AHCI, Windows got blue screen error and I couldn't manage to get pass that untill I changed it back to Intel something... from AHCI.

Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. X705FD
CPU: Intel Core i5-8265U CPU @ 1.60GHz - Kaby Lake
RAM: 8GB DDR4 which I wish to upgrade in the following weeks if needed
SSD m.2: SanDisk SD9SN8W128G1102 (Windows 10 installed)
Hard Disk: ST1000LM035-1RK17 1TB 5400 RPM (I will replace this HDD with Samsung Evo 960 if I will manage to install macOS on this laptop).
Dedicated graphics: GeForce GTX 1050 (I know that macOS Mojave have problems with some Nvidia Graphics card, would I be able to use it in my hackintosh laptop?)
Integrated graphics: UHD Graphics 620 (If I won't be able to use my Nvidia dedicated card, this one will be able to run most common tasks and some photo/video editing?)
Wireless NIC: Intel Wireless-AC 9560 160MHz (I know that this wireless card most probably won't work, but I do have another external wireless dongle which I know that's compatible and I can use)
Ethernet NIC: Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller

Has anyone managed to install macOS Mojave on this thing? If I won't be able to use dedicated graphics, it's better to choose High Sierra?

only your intel graphics will work

unless you can disable your intel graphics in bios and then you can run High Sierra

I managed to get past that stuck.

Now im here...

MacOS High Sierra

Also, in bios i do not have the option xhci handoff...

Tried mojave, tried catalina... Nothing works.

zip and upload your clover folder

Read tens of guides... I managed to install macos high sierra, mojave and catalina on a few pcs even on amds but on this laptop it seems to be so hard.

Thank you very much for your help Feartech!

your hardware profile should state your intel graphics as well please

your clover version looks too old, newer versions have a different folder structure for efi files

also AsusFNKeys kext is no longer supported, newer one is AsusSMC.kext

FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext is no longer required with later versions of whatevergreen and lilu kext

and you definitely want to update lilu and whatevergreen kexts

FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext is probably not required and in that case, you can also remove FakePCIID.kext as that does nothing on it's own

I have updated clover to the last version and removed those unused kexts. After that i got an error that asussmc needs virtualsmc so i replaced with fakesmc. After this i got another errors.

I removed asussmc and put back fakesmc. I am back with the old error (picture 3).

upload your new clover folder

This is the modified EFI folder. I searched a little bit and I found problems alike in some linux distros. I have already updated to my latest bios version.

you have OsxAptioFix3Drv and AptioMemoryFix use only 1, you may need to test each on it's own
EmuVariableUefi *shouldn't* be needed but can do sometimes

VirtualSmc.efi doesn't work with fakesmc.kext, it needs smchelper.efi

or keep VirtualSmc and remove fakesmc.kext

also try a clean unedited config.plist from the laptop guide:
