I used the command to do the same with a version of Yosemite and the command createmedia works to put it on the USB

I'm thinking, maybe the problem is about running Unibeast on Yosemite. I'm considering upgrading my old PC to high sierra first, and then try to run Unibeast from that environment. Once I have the USB stick ready with Catalina, I'll update the hardware and try to install Catalina straight..

@Gigamaxx I don't understand what you mean? Are you talking about a setting in the Clover setup or something that should be on the USB (I put the screenshot of that USB drive as a pdf in previous post)

Yes drag the install app then you need to download a version of clover and run the clover installer app and select the USB for the target. Go to downloads section for the Clover builds and choose a UEFI version.
so you are saying that it's enough for the .app to be in the drive, for Clover to boot it?
I was reading this article: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201372
what if I lunch createinstallmedia, targeting the USB stick, then install Clover on the stick?

This is the createinstallmedia method which is what Unibeast is doing or attempting to do. The gibMacOS method if you follow it has instructions to make the DMG bootable. That is what I was speculating may have happened?
Use the search tool here to find the gibMacOS tutorial maybe you will have success.

my plan to fix the issue.
Setup 1: GA P55A-UD4 + HD5770 already running on Yosemite:
1) download High sierra, use Unibeast 8.4, select legacy bios, install high sierra on a dedicated SSD
2) running High sierra, download Catalina, run Unibeast 10.1, select uefi bios
3) upgrade hardware to setup 2: Z390 + RX570
4) use the Catalina stick to install from scratch on the new system

why? this sentence: Important: To get the correct installer, download from a Mac that is using macOS Sierra 10.12.5 or later, or El Capitan 10.11.6. Enterprise administrators, please download from Apple, not a locally hosted software-update server. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201372

I let you know if it's a success..

I wasn't able either..after few trying I erased the USB with the "Security Option" at the second level (from left) and moving and launching the UniBeast software from the Desktop (previously I was launching it directly from the download folder).
Somehow it worked.

I just had the "Couldn't create USB" error when trying install Mojave Unibeast from an M1 Big Sur Macbook. The solution was to disable SIP.

SIP is a Catalina or higher feature only, I think. You need to boot to macOS Recovery Mode to disable it, and please note that the process for doing that on an M1 Mac is not the same as for an Intel one.
