[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I am running Mojave.
The installation si fairly new, not older than a month. Everything was working fine with this card but started randomly to panic.
The model name of the card is XFX GTS RX580 XXX 8GB.
I have seen the NOTE when I started but I already had this card.

L.E: Is it safe to flash the vBIOS with one from Sapphire Pulse?
I do not recommend that, but it's ultimately your decision. I would instead suggest an experiment like this:
  • Find a spare USB flash disk (about 4GB or larger).
  • On another working Mac, follow the procedure in Step 1 of Catalina Mini-Guide to create a bootable EFI folder on the USB disk.
    • Use config-Internal-GPU.plist from the ZIP file in that guide.
    • You can safely skip the 3rd Bullet in Step 1 ("Download Catalina Installer...").
  • Turn off the Hackintosh and flip power switch on PSU to OFF.
  • Physically remove the RX 580 GPU.
  • Connect HDMI cable between monitor and rear IO panel.
  • Ensure BIOS --> Internal Graphics --> is Enabled.
  • Insert the USB flash disk.
  • Boot the system and press F12 to open the BIOS Boot Menu (not Clover Boot Menu).
  • Select the USB flash disk.
  • When Clover Boot Menu appears, try booting macOS normally.
  • What happens?

I checked, i can still join a 5ghz network, but not a 2.4 ghz. So strange, i never had that issue and now, the 2.4ghz connection stopped to work...I use the Fenvie T919
Some questions / comments:
  • Do you see all of the 2.4GHz SSIDs? But when you try to join a 2.4GHz network nothing happens?
  • But no problem joining 5GHz networks?
  • I notice there is no Country Code in your screenshot. But if the card was working properly then probably it doesn't matter.
  • If you disable Bluetooth from System Preferences --> Bluetooth, then can you join 2.4GHz network?

Tried both options. iPad screen remains black. However, rendering remains fast. Should I leave the settings like mentioned in Option 2? Or should I switch back?
Does this mean you can enable Sidecar in System Preferences --> Sidecar, choose your iPad from the pop-up menu, but iPad screen stays black?

Yes, I will pass the bios flashing..

I will try this experiment and come back to you with the result.

Thank you!

Just finished this experiment and everything works fine. Booted without any issues. Here's a screenshot of "About This Mac"

No, there are usually more 2.4GHz SSId's in my area, which I see any of them at the moment, as well checked with iPad. Joining my 5GHz network does work yes. Right now there is a Country Code which is correct. I am in Switzerland. Bluetooth is usually off, if on or off doesnt make any difference. WiFi in BIOS is disabled...

That was quick! Good job. Let's do this:
  • Mount EFI partition of the macOS SSD and copy the SMBIOS and RtVariables sections from existing config.plist into the config.plist of USB flash disk. Probably the easiest way to do this is with ProperTree or a text editor like BBEdit. This will ensure that existing serial numbers are preserved.
  • Then reboot again with USB flash disk (by pressing F12 at BIOS splash screen) to confirm that everything is still okay.
  • Now shutdown, flip power switch on PSU back to OFF.
  • Reinstall the AMD GPU.
  • Connect monitor to AMD GPU (disconnect it from on-board HDMI).
  • Power on the system.
  • Press F12 again at BIOS splash screen and choose USB disk.
  • At Clover Boot Menu, boot macOS normally again.
  • Does it boot?

It might be a good idea to connect the outboard antenna that comes in the Designare Z390 box. It has two connectors. Simply connect them to the two middle ports on the Fenvi and move the antenna away from the computer. Does it help with 2.5GHz networks? (Can you see all of the SSIDs and join any of them?)

You said you installed these:

But I'm not sure why? If you have a native macOS-supported Broadcom card, you should not need any Broadcom kexts. So the kexts could actually be hurting SideCar and Unlock features.

Would be worth trying this and see if it fixes things:

If that doesn't work, then I guess it's safe to say your current WiFi card is at fault.

For your new BCM94360CS2 card, you'll probably need to remove the Broadcom kexts anyway.
Why? Because I was lazy. I followed a search that said these cured the problem for another user and I didn't want dive in and do the work and figure this out.... but that was another day! That was yesterday... Today, I'm a much better person and am actually digging into to try and find the root cause... and I already ordered new hardware...

With the above kexts removed, Bluetooth works identically but I have no WiFi.

I tried to realign the antennas, and indeed it worked. I could connect again. But right now with a wrong country code which is set to X3 or so. And after reboot, I cant connect again. So strange...Not many 2.4GHz SSID's around. I tried as well in Windows, the same issue there as well, no 2.4GHz connection only 5GHz...mmmh...So is probably my T919 broken? Or could that be really a network interfering issue?
