Ok will do. Thanks.

Edit:
Not experiencing crashes on installation. Just the fresh install.

So it installs fine, but you're experiencing crashes on first boot (Pre-bootloader installation)?

EDIT: Also, that seemed too fast. You are erasing the whole partition and doing a new install right?

My current drive is an Adata Sx8000NP nvme drive. I first upgraded 15.2 to 15.4 and thats when I noticed the lockups. So I created a fresh Catalina Install USB, didn't use Unibeast though and manually installed Clover to usb stick with the config.plist file from my 15.2 install, and then wiped the Adata drive and installed fresh 15.4. Same lockups happened. So taking your advice I have created a new Unibeast Catalina installer with its default clover config.plist configuration and try it out and see what happens. Will still need SSDT-EC.AML file I suppose. Also should note I have 15.2 installation on a live carbon copy plus backup high speed usb stick and that works great!

Thanks

Edit: Read the 970 plus evo has firmware update that fixes those issues.

Ok. Just tried booting off of a fresh Unibeast USB installer and loaded up my 15.4 installation. It had me going for 5 minutes. Every thing was smooth and all of a sudden after 5 minutes it crashed again! Only difference I made to the Unibeast Clover EFI folder was added 'agdpmod=pikera' and added an SSDT-EC.aml file to Patched folder. Will let you know how it goes once I get my Samsung 970 EVO Plus. For now happy with 15.2 even though it runs off of a USB stick!

Thanks

Ahhhh shucks, that sucks. Yeah please follow up with the 970!

So I went Opencore to test out theory it was the bootloader at fault but it wasn't. Based on my Console crash reports have narrowed it down to the AMD 6000 video card driver. Don't have the same reports of crashes on 15.2 so if anyone knows how to install 15.2 gpu drivers onto 15.4 I would appreciate the help.

Thanks

Before you do that, could you boot using integrated graphics and see how it runs (provided you have integrated graphics). I’m curious.

Thing is I’m using an RX480 so it natively runs, keep in touch!

I would have to pull the GPUs out?
