AMD Radeon Navi GPU

So I made some modification to the ssdt.aml and the system animations seem faster, safari,dock, etc.
Can be my imagination :lol: .

To try add patch change PEGP to EGP0 find: 50454750 replace: 45475030
and replace the ssdt.aml with the one attached.
 
@mattystonnie , @pastrychef , can you upload a Radeon VII aml with mods? I Tried to insert Araguaia framebuffer, but not work for me. I use this aml as base

It is looking good, try to block WEG from loading, at the clover boot screen hit space and block kext WEG.
Hi so I tried with the aml in your post #798:

-With WEG, still the same huge improvement, and "AMD RADEON RX 5700 XT ..." is back in geekbench and Davinci Resolve!!

-Without WEG, I can boot, get the same results but it does something strange: with my Macpro 7.1 smbios I had the "Memory modules misconfigured" notification (known issue with macpro 7.1 and non ECC ram)

I could get rid of that with the "MacProMemoryNotificationDisabler" kext (https://github.com/IOIIIO/MacProMemoryNotificationDisabler/releases)
But when I disable/block/uninstall WEG, after the reboot I get the "Memory modules misconfigured" notification again despite of the presence of the "MacProMemoryNotificationDisabler" kext...

Really strange no?

Now I will test your last aml (post #814) with the change PEGP to EGP0 find: 50454750 replace: 45475030 patch but keeping WEG.

Hello, I have a 5700XT and it seems to work great in macOS. Though I only use it for gaming and Blizzard games are not demanding. I would like to inject a Soft Power Play table to disable fan stop, but I am using Open Core and can't find the specific data for adding it to device properties, or clear details on adding the power play table to a SSDT, or a KEXT. All are supposed to be easy but of course no one actually documents this.

So if someone could point me in the right direction, a screen shot of the entry in to open core where I put this would be great, or kext, or SSDT. Really anyway that will hopefully last.

Just copy your device properties from Clover config.plist to OpenCore config.plist.
 
Just tested the latest Matty 5700XT .aml, along with the PEGP to EGP0 patch.

Geekbench OpenCL score about the same as when injecting the properties. The Compute Device name has returned to being AMD Radeon 5700 XT 50th Anniversary as it was previously (I have 5700XT Liquid Devil, but that's what it used to say previously anyway)

Still need to load WEG, otherwise results in black screen - tried all other Displayport connections on the card, but I don't have a free HDMI cable to test HDMI.

Would we need to do any other patches/renames to be able to not use WEG?
