Update: Surprisingly this problem is solved after disabling the WIFI card and Bluetooth in the BIOS setting. My wifi card is DW1820a (JT494 from Lenovo). I guess the problem is to free up USB resources to be used by the external disks?

I recently got a X1 carbon gen6 which is supposed to be perfect for Hackintosh. However to my surprise, I was not able to get into the installer of either Mojave or Catalina.
The problem seems to be related to loss of USB at very early stage (see attached photos).
I have tried the stock Unibeast EFI, online EFI from various sources. I have tried USB2 sticks and USB 3 hard drives on all the 4 ports available. They all fail at the same stage. The disks boot fine with my HP X360.
I have added the port limit patch, USBPorts.kext and USBInjectAll.kext. Nothing seem to make a difference.
i also tried the OC EFI from here
Won’t see the installer option at all, only reset NVRAM.
The only thing I can think of would be XHCI handoff in bios is turned off? But I don’t have that option in my bios setting. Anyone has encounter similar problem before? if you have X1 carbon gen 6 too, can you tell me the bios version to use?
