pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Hey man! I used your EFI Opencore 0.5.7 Z370G build and it works pretty good!
The WiFi from the fenviT919 works out of the box. But the Bluetooth just looks disabled.
I read that I need the brcmPatch kexts to fix that. I can not figure out how to add them in a OpenCore build.
Would you like to explain me how I can add it?
Thanks!

You should not need any of those kexts.

You need to configure USB ports.

If you can boot from USB, there's no reason why you can't boot from your SSD. Just make sure you copy the EFI folder from the EFI partition of your USB flash drive to the EFI partition of your SSD.

Thats what I thought, but drive isn't detected on BIOS as UEFI :(

Also, I can't see the EFI on clover configurator, even if I do sudo mount -uw /, when I go to home (on clover configurator) isn't there.

If there is no EFI partition, then the SSD was initialized incorrectly. It needs to be AFPS/GUID.

Hey pastrychef,

I do not quite understand how the USB port configuration fixes the bluetooth problems of the fenvi card. Could you enlighten me on that?

Bluetooth is connected to USB. If USB is not working right, you can not expect Bluetooth to work right.

I followed that guide and tried to map the usb's. The fenvi card is in a pci slot should it still display in the USB section of Hackintool?
I mapped it like this

Still no success in getting the Bluetooth to a connected state:

Can you please help me out here?

What kind of Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card are you using? How is it connected? PCI-e? M.2 slot? Which USB connectors are you using?

Still not working, I mount the efi with clover but plist doesn’t show on clover configurator. Neither the disk appear as Uefi on bios
