Hi all,
First of all, I'd like to ask for help with my "nonhackintosh", but real Mac. Cannot find any help elsewhere, so I hope you "hacking guys" may help.
I bought a new EVGA NVIDIA Geforce GTX 780 GPU and plugged into my mid 2012 Mac Pro a few days ago. Went through all those upgrades from El Capitan to Mojave. But I can get the signal on HDMI port only which offers me 3840 x 2160, 1920 x 1080, 1080p and 1080i resolution. Any of those resolutions seems to me a bit uncomfortable to use on my LG 27UD68-W 4K LCD 27" screen. So I'd like to get the signal from the DisplayPort because it will give me more resolution variation that I can choose from, I suppose (the best option is 2560x1440 for me). But there's no signal on DisplayPort when I boot up. I wonder why because on High Sierra there was no problem.
I have no Cuda installed now. I run Mojave 10.14.6 (18G4032). I know there are no NVIDIA drivers available for Mojave atm.
Thank you for any help, tips or hints.
