Husband and fiancé risk COVID-19 by searching for phone. Good job the police didn't catch them!. Who doesn't back up there there photos to iCloud, it's there for situations like, dropping phone in river!. It's obvious to me that the iPhone is smarter than the owner, it stayed locked down for two months!.

1) How can a brand-new iPhone 8 have thousands of photos on it - unless from iCloud?

2) One minute the river is calm and clear, the next fast-flowing?

No doubt there's a germ of truth there somewhere.
