Here is an updated Clover setup with mostly everything working. I did not change the wifi card, so I did not test that. DGPU not working, not currently supported. but is disabled using SSDT-DDGPU
Sleep works fine with the occasional black screen on wake. Yes backlight control has been implemented.
USB-C and Thunderbolt works but when in use, it will enable the DGPU
that's it enjoy. all required files are attached.
Thank you so much for your EFI, using it I was able to put os x mojave the first time on my gs65 8sf
but I had some difficulties that I could not solve; dGPU is working constantly, that is, the GPU indicator is constantly on orange, there are thoughts why your patch did not work and did not disable dGPU?
sorry for my english, translated using google

I tried making it a more general tutorial for MSI laptops but I was using my computer as an example but each computer is slightly different

@e12350, I have adopted your EFI folder and I'm quite happy with the results. Just one question: is there any way at all to get an external monitor working either through the HDMI or Thunderbolt 3 port? This is the only one remaining frustration I have with this otherwise perfect hackintosh.

Hi itech, what kind of touchpad are you using for this model? Is that working?

Ah ok, the guide is more a general tutorial than GS65 specific - makes sense then.

Divide, I have a p65 9se.
have you seen this error when you built your hackintosh?
OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for \system\library\CoreServices\boot.efi
Using reloc block: yes, hibernate wake: no
OsxAptioFixDrv: AllocateRelocBlock (): can not allocate relocation block (0x1a748 pages below 0x100000000): not found

can I get a copy of your EFI folder?

sorry forgot to update with the internal Intel card. Intel UHD 630
and I understand that I cannot use the nvidia card at all.

Just want to say thank you for your zip file, this allowed me to install Mojave on my GL73-9SC. Touchpad is working but the ethernet isn't. USB stick works but no the USB mouse. I'll get it figured out but thank you for the zip. I couldn't get Mac OS installed for months.

Follow my guide on Github here, or you can wait until I upload it here.
Hello, thank you so much for this tutorial! I can't make it work though. I have a GS66 Stealth (attached screenshots for hardware specs). I'm trying to install Mojave. Clover loads but when I click install osx it never gets to the installer (attached screenshot of verbose info where it stops). I've tried following your guide step by step, also tried copy-paste your EFI folder, same outcome. Any help would be appreciated!
Edit: I tried with Catalina, now it gives me a different error - screenshot attached
