I solved this puzzle staying on 18,3 and enabling both the two ACPI patches regarding the correct naming and path of graphics resources (GFX0->IGPU and PEGP->GFX0 ) and enabling the correct ig-platform-id for my CPU. Now FCXP is working smoothly.

Just curious, why did you choose 18,3? You have a i9-9900K which would match 19,1.

I tried but my system hangs anytime the iGPU is on.

Hmm... I don't know why it hangs for you. I'm on iMacPro1,1 with IGPU enabled right now albeit on my Z390 system.

I'm trying to upgrade to Catalina from Mojave 10.14.6.
Updated Clover to r5108 from r5103.
Now clover bootloader shows my macOS drive but can't boot into it - blank screen, cant seem to boot into safe mode either.

Do I need to rollback clover to regain access to my OS first?
I tried to make a USB clover bootable USB but it doesn't seem to work.

Just for historical reasons: my machine comes from very far... every year I update/change a component of it... I was on 18,3 when first bought the Z370 Prime A (not the II series, the 1st one) ... and, at that time, I purchased i7-8700K ... and there were only the 18,x series. Then I upgraded pieces by pieces...

Please try using the latest Clover EFI from post #1 on a USB flash drive.

Clover has been going through a lot of major changes and problems may occur. 5107 seems pretty stable. I haven't tested 5108 yet.

Sorry I'm not sure how to correctly load the EFI folder onto the USB.
Say if the Clover USB is created with r5107, do I just copy & replace everything in the the root EFI folder?

And then boot via BIOS to USB? Clover bootloader is not picking up the USB drive but it shows up in BIOS.

I see now quite different multipliers active and difference are sometimes big. Tried already speedstep / smart shift or how its called but no real difference. I use FakeSMC which were in the Off directory otherwise I could not see the multipliers. Performance is ok (30000 Geekbench 4) Any idea? Thx.

I don't know. I stopped using FakeSMC a while ago.
