Well, I've got a Panasonic 58" 4K HDR TV (TX-58DX750B) and bought a new fibre optic 5m HDMI 2.0 Cable (4K@60Hz HDR/CEC/HDCP 2.2) connected to my Radeon VII on 10.15.4 and still "nada" on System Pref->Display...Hello, @szw75!
Yes, I have updated to 10.15.4 and can confirm they added the HDR support future in the display section. See
system pref->display but be aware of some buggy video play back depending on your overall setup. does your monitor/tv have hdr support if so you will see the box in displays in system pref..
Funny enough, on Windows 10 x64 I do get the PQR (HDR10) mode @30Hz, although with some washed out colours and any movie played with internal TV player is just amazing in HDR!
Do you know on how to diagnose where the problem might be ?
@CaseySJ, maybe this will be next big addition to this thread: HDR10 for everyone, no ?
I've run AGDCDiagnose both in MacPro5.1 & MacPro7.1 SMBIOS, but cannot understand the massive output...
