pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

I'm running some processes on my Z370 hack and won't be able to update to macOS 10.15.4 until at least tomorrow, but I don't anticipate any problems.

Updated running your latest OpenCore EFI, no problems whatsoever

I was getting kernel panics when waking from sleep caused by HDMI audio on macOS 10.15.4 on my Z390.

To work around this, I disabled WhateverGreen.

Hey PastryChef, you had helped me about a year ago after i had problems with my pc, and you had told me to use your 5.1.1 efi file, which had worked. being the excited kid, i he forgot to copy that efi file onto my hardeive and all that, so i had been constantly booting off of my flash drive. recently i had accidentally wiped that flash drive, and now my pc won’t boot. a seemingly obvious fix, i cake back here to try and find the 5.1.1 efi file that my computer had been used to running, however there is only a 4.5.1 file and 5.1.2 file available. what are the differences from your 5.1.1? i have tried both files, the 4.5.1 results in clover and then the startup loading screen which when it finishes it is just a black screen, and the 5.1.2 results in a flashing underscore which i have assumed meant that my pc couldn’t run the efi or something, so it defaulted to my hard dive which has no efi file on it. any help would be greatly appreciated

What version of macOS are you running?

Please take a picture of what you see with 5.1.2 and post it here.

I was running Mojave; I'm unsure exactly what version, but it was pretty recent. For some reason, sometimes when I restart, it just goes straight back to the BIOS screen. But I have attached a picture.

I have just tried the default EFI folder after trying yours (results in the previous response), and I ended up with a no signal from my computer. Checking possible cable issues, or signal output possibilities now.

No success changing any outputs or anything. I shut off the computer, tried it again, and now the loading bar is stuck at halfway.

Do you even see the Clover boot menu?
