@CaseySJ The problems with 10.15.4 may relate to KernelPM and AppleIntelCPUPM patches breaking because Apple changed some things to add Comet/Ice Lake support.

Anyone having issues that has an MSR patched? I installed it no problem so far and am still in 5105 Clover, though all kexts are latest release version.

Yes the freeze occured while in terminal in recovery mode.
So I removed the rest of the kexts you suggested. The "extensions" folder is attached.
I copied all the kexts from "mini catalina guide" to efi. The "other" folder is attached.
I rebuilt kextcache and repair permisions using hackintool (photo attached).
I changed from clover configurator inject kexts from "detect" to "Yes".
Also shall I leave applealc, lilu and weg from catalina mini guide or download the latest ones?
Is everything ok now?

P.S. I just noticed that both fakesmc and virtualsmc are in kexts/other so I deleted fakesmc.

Updated Clover to 5107, updated lilu, applealc and what evergreen.
Updated to 10.15.4
All went well, 2 times boot with screen update.

My OpenCL score is 47716
My Metal score is 44323
My CPU score is 1205 and 7478

• Then yes it's okay to update to latest Lilu, WEG, and AppleALC.
• Because you're running VirtualSMC, please check the CLOVER/UEFI/drivers folder to make sure SMCHelper.efi is not present. If it is, remove it.

Do you recommend 2x16gb or 4x8gb ram and 2666mhz is the best for the stability ?

The target can be a regular spinning hard drive. It can be any hard drive (SSD and non-SSD), but not USB flash disk.

Hello again guys and Thank you CaseySJ for all you are doing for us ,i was able to get rid of that pesky clover pre boot menu ,however i dont know what exaclty did it because as i was reading through our thread here i read all the catalina guides that you have been making for us and decided to re do my clover efi as described in the fresh catalina install guide ,i removed the third party kexts from Library /Extentions rebuild permisions and cache with kext utility and then build my efi exactly as shown in the fresh catalina install guide with two minor diffrences. for the AMD.plist i was already using the 19.1 smbios so i just copied over the board number and serial from my older plist made sure everything was the same in RT Variables ,and in the kexts/Other folder i replaced Lilu,Whatever Green and AppleALC with the latest ,i only have one issue regarding ethernet ,i cleared network preferences from library system configuration in order to double check but it seems one of the ethernet ports is not working i was using the i211 before but i switched over to the i219 because that one is not working now ,any ideas?

Make a full bootable backup of Catalina 10.15.3 before attempting to install 10.15.4 ​

There seems to be a high failure rate with the update to 10.15.4. It may or may not be due to WhateverGreen. Like COVID-19, we don't have a solution for it right now. Don't take chances. If you cannot make a full bootable back right away, do not update.

Don't think so... If you use an older Clover version, update it and everything will be good. XCPM in Clover is broken. Apple changed
CoreDarwin from 16 to 20 bit.

This is already enough for clover to quit the job.
