[Success] WORKING Intel Wifi Drivers for 7265AC on Catalina

Status
Not open for further replies.
Trying to load the kext but getting this error ...

Code:
sudo kextload /tmp/*.kext
/tmp/AppleIntelWiFi.kext failed to load - (libkern/kext) not loadable (reason unspecified); check the system/kernel logs for errors or try kextutil(8).

Do I need to have SIP disabled?

Edit:
Yup, need SIP disabled but as soon as I press enter, computer crashes.
Btw, I have Intel 8265 AC.

Waiting for future updates.

I was actually able to use it for a few minutes but eventually it went to crash. Definitely the first successful driver to make connections on the Intel cards. Very excited about the potential as all the new ultrabooks only have intel cards now.

you will also need to right click on the kext and select “show package contents”. Open the info.plist by right clicking and open with (xCode, or Other/text edit). Add your WiFi as seen by devices for example Mark17 WiFi 2G in the IOKit/Intelwifi section of the plist under SSIP. Then under PWD edit the password for your WiFi. Hit save then follow the install instructions.

Any updates? Mine even works, but restarts the computer in minutes. Intel 7265 ac

Have you tried using hackintool to rebuild caches and repair permissions?
Yes,

I actually install from the "temp" folder. Using the Kextload command. I didn't install it on the S / L / E.

I understand but with Catalina you can’t even delete a EFI Backup folder without disabling gatekeeper. The new prelinked kernel system in Mojave and Catalina is extensive and far reaching for security improvements. It would not take long to test the rebuild and repair.
