hello
i'll still stuck with OC and Catalina. Mojave boot fine
If someone can have a look to my OC folder and especially to the SSDT-EC-USBX.aml. I follow this guide : https://khronokernel.github.io/Getting-Started-With-ACPI/Desktops/desktop-ec.html
4G decoding is enable in the BIOS
Any help is appreciated
Thanks in advance

Hello
Is someone with an X299 mobo and Catalina 10.15.3 can share it's OC folder, for testing purposes
Thanks

i'm checking SSDT-EC-USBX.dsl from OpenCore GitHub.

Is the double "_SB" in the path normal ?

If yes, is there any explanation ?
Thanks

One part is for EC and the other is for USBX. Because Gigabyte Mobos do not need the EC patch to boot catalina; I'm only using SSDT-USBX ( helps/support USB Power management ). See my SSDT ex below.

Thank you. I understand

Hi guys, is there anybody here still?

I updated to OC 0.5.6, everything seems to work flawless but at boot I got the attached errors (?). the messages appear and disappear in a fraction of second and after this everything goes ok. Anyone has explanation for it? Message attached.

you will need to compare your config.plist to the new one from opencore and amend as necessary

as they change things, add new things and also remove things

Yeah, very funny, after a year of very stable system now I screwed up all the machine. macOS doesn't boot with OpenCore and Clover neither. I think OC team is right when they say that's a beta software, and you should not swap from Clover if you got a stable system. I suppose I'm going to have to rebuild a brand new EFI and reinstall macOS from scratch, or just buy the new Mac Mini rumored to be released in a few days.

assume you don't have a working usb installer you can boot from then?

I managed to revert to a previous EFI, with an older version of OC (can't remember the exact release version).

attached the EFI, can anybody please have a look at it? I'm new with OC, would be great if someone could update and fix my EFI while teaching me where I'm wrong and what I haven't do correctly. BTW, isn't this the goal of tonymac? Thanks you all in advance.

EDIT: I think something is wrong with USB stuff... front panel usb 3 port works only with usb 2 stick, usb 3 stick unrecognized, rear ports seem to work fine. the usbx aml and port mapping kext worked fine (previously).
