Hi All , I've got similar issues with "share" to 1080P and 4K apple devices. Exept I am on Imac Pro 1.1 and smaller files 3-5 minute ones were OK, but 28 min clip i had was failing at 16% or more. It all went away after updating to 10.14.6. There was also a video files update, maybe it was related, not sure. Also , my temps showed on VEGA 64 and it is not good: 128C on GPU Die. Geekbench 4 went down significantly after update as well. Over all system is very stable so far. I have water cooled system from EK
I am also on a iMac Pro1,1 SMBIOS no issues with FCPX now. In regards to your temps, that's a bug with FakeSMC.kext particular to Vegas GPUs. It is not the actual temp, it is always stuck at 127~128C. Not sure if there is a fix by now.

Thank you so much!

Seems like the WhatEverGreen.kext got updated to fix some of these graphics issues so updating to the latest may work for you. However, all my issues went away when I switched my SMBIOS to iMacPro1,1. MacOS takes advantage of iGPU for rendering on FCPX (as has been explained in this thread) instead of using dGPU. There's something that's incompatible with the FCPX frameworks and our iGPU (even if you have it properly configured for your system). The idea is to bypass the iGPU and just use the dGPU so that your OS doesn't switch between them. If you configure your clover with iMacPro1,1 for example, it will just use dGPU for everything since iMacPros don't have an iGPU. This also fixes Netflix, HBO, prime, etc streaming.

Hope this made sense. Also, keep in mind that changing your SMBIOS on clover will also require a new SN, MOBO Serial, etc. Your iMessage, facetime etc will have to be reset/reactivated as well because it won't work after the change. There's plenty of tutorials online on how to do this.

Try updating whatevergreen first since it is the easiest method and you will have to do this regardless. If still doesn't work move on to switching SMBIOS.

Hi mafx3,
I upgraded whatevergreen with Clover configuration and I changed SMBIOS to imacPro1,1 and no changes. FCPX 10.4.8 breaks and reboot the system. I tested FCPX 10.3.4 and it works but it doesn’t recognise any dGPU and works more with CPU and a little bit with dGPU (iStat shown)... Any idea?

No idea, I am using FCPX 10.4.8 and its fine. It uses both my CPU and GPU. What kind of file are you exporting? H.264?

Native Pro Res or H.264, 4K or less, always fails...

Right, I am exporting those as well with no issues. Maybe you have shiki=XXX arguments on your clover boot options? Under iMacPro1,1 you won't need those arguments.
I’ll send my EFI directory tomorrow afternoon. I don’t have shiki... I think I will do a new install... Thanks for all... Talk tomorrow

Hi mafx3, can you send me your EFI? Thanks
