HowTo: Real Thunderbolt HotPlug/HotSwap on the fly

I am using a KGP X99 build. Although I have thunderbolt hot swap, it is only after I have booted with a thunderbolt drive attached. I would like to try this but my Asus X-99 AII bios is different, and my io reg is much different.

Out of interest, how, precisely, was it that you unlocked those settings. I am thinking of attempting something similar on an Asrock board.

Add this and that problem should be fixed. It applies power at every boot.

Interesting post about some Gigabyte boards not having enough power to support the Force Power feature and requiring a pin jumper.

I'm in the same situation. I tried with kgp ssdt for our X99 and Tbtforcepower.efi without success. have you got it?
