For sure, dolgarrenan! Here are the original unpatched DSDT´s from the MSI X299 Pro and Prime X299 AII.
This is a very nice touch from you!
Give a try to the MSI board with this patch
Code:
Find:00A00B93 53544153 0A01A40A
Replace:00A00B93 58544153 0A01A40A

All I have done is to change "STAS" to "XTAS" in order to disable the entire method. This is a temporary fix if it works, at any rate, I would have to see where your bootloader is getting stuck, perhaps the issue lies somewhere else.

The location of STAS seems to be the same as on my Designare so it is weird it is not working for you, that's why I'm changing the way of resolving this by removing the entire method by rename, so post a pic of your verbose with the following boot flags: "-v debug=0x100 keepsyms=1" so we can debug.

EDIT: Post your EFI so we can have a look, perhaps there is something missing.

Hi, and thank you again, dolgarrenan!

But sadly it doesn´t work. One of the strangest thing is, that without the MSR Lock Patch (KernelToPatch section) Clovers stucks without exception immediately after the startscreen with +++++++. And that´s altough the MSR Lock is disabled in UEFI (same with the Prime AII). The German coder is in contact with Asus and said, the manufacturers have to change a few things, then perhaps it will be possible to boot with one or two patches. And it looks that it concerns Asus, Asrock an MSI (there are also threads here with the MSI Creator X299, the Asus Rampage VI Extreme Encore, Asrock Taichi CLX).
Your Designare ist the very first X299X or actually the only one which is able to boot... I would like to test the cheaper version X299X Aorus Master if it also boots... maybe someone here?

Enclosed my reduced and lightweight "EFI-to-go"... it boots nearly all "old" X299 boards, the finishing touch comes always after a successfull booting. Your patch is included, I have tested with and without...

That is a very lightweight EFI . You should post your full BIOS config too, I have moved to SMBIOS MacPro7,1 since I find it more suitable for (at least) the DESIGNARE 10G (better TB compatibility).

Have a try with this EFI and let me know how it goes.

Good weekend folks!

Hi, and thank you, dolgarrenan.
It doesn´t work. The german coder means, that it is not possible to boot this boards (he had also a Asus X299 Edition 30 in his hands) without fixes from the manufacturers. It´s obviously not the hardware itself, it´s in the UEFI... here is another indication: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/asus-x299-support.276179/post-2072784

So we have to wait (maybe forever?) or buy "your" Designare...

@tonzone I imagine you might have tried everything, but have you tried patching the BIOS like we used to with X99 to unlock MSR register??

I did have a SAGE too and was very pleased with its functionality and compatibility, a colleague of mine was looking for a new computer, and he insisted on buying my SAGE, so I ended up just selling it to him, but overall very happy. I hammered the thing and didn't flinch!.

Can't speak for the ASRock since I haven't tried it but looks solid, and with AQ 107 10Gb built-in, that sure gives some good long time compatibility :).

I have an AMD build with ASRock creators and a 3900X and works real nice on 10.15, so I'm guessing the Intel part must be just as good on X299.
Hello I buy a ASRock X299 creator !!. I will try This week-end to install Catalina with the X299X designare Patch.
Is there some other patch to try ?
May be I will make a new post

I surrender... I will use the boards with Windows 10 P, it works perfekt. I hope that soon there will be a solution for us macOS-Users, until the "old" X299 boards are out of stock everywhere.

Good luck! There is a very new UEFI (1.30) from 2020/02/04... maybe Asrock did a good job for us?

No need to make a new post if you don't want to, just ask away, I'll try helping as best I can

But have you tried what I mentioned???

Not very specific on their website about what's changed, but who knows.. Perhaps they just disable MSR lock register like GB does
