MSR Lock setting in the BIOS has no effect
Oh, excellent, a bug. Let's see if/when ASUS fixes this one

For those of you who are still on Clover and not OC, here's a replacement for AptioMemoryFix/OsxAptioFix that's based on OC. Since AptioMemoryFix is not in development anymore, it's worth to take a look at this.
OCQuirks
In general, it would be much better for people to transition over to OC, especially X299 owners.
Hi,
I was successfully able to boot and run Mojave 10.14.6 and Catilina 10.15.1.
However sometimes it gets kernel panics randomly. Also can't get through a GeekBench run.
Guessing it could be the GPU or maybe need to patch SSDT ( which I have no idea)
Utilising this machine for Pro Audio purpose so I don't need expensive graphics card.
It would be great if you can look at Clover folder attached bellow.
Thank You.
Hardware list :
Motherboard : Asus WS X299 Sage
CPU : i9 7980XE Processor
GPU : Sapphire Radeon Rx 580
M.2 : Corssair Mp600 2tb ssd
Ram : Corsair Vengeance LPX 8x8 (64gb)
SMPS: Corssair 1600 Watts
So I can't help you much because I don't run Clover. I run OC. I found Clover 101, etc, to be unstable on my machine, particularly with Catalina. You might want to try OcQuirks with Clover, but I don't use it as I use OC.
My Sage does not run Geekbench, and if I need a benchmark, I use Cinebench R20, which is a much more like a real production oriented benchmark, as opposed to a synthetic benchmark like Geekbench.
If you're running Pro Tools, remember, Avid is always behind the curve on OS updates, and they just released a version of Pro Tools that is supposed to work on Catalina (meaning likely to be buggy). And, as for Avid Media Composer, they still haven't released a version for Catalina, and Apple is close to releasing Catalina 10.15.4.....
I'm still on Mojave.
Edit: Installed OcQuirks and boots smoothly but still has random Kernel Panic. looking forward to try OpenCore.
It would be great if you can share some guides and EFI to use.
