Has anyone been able to use the GC Titan Ridge with a display on a X299 motherboard without THB_C cable connected?

Hey guys. Need some help. Here are the specs for Zotac MI572 mini PC.
  • Intel Core i7-7700T
  • Intel 100 series chipset
  • Intel HD Graphics 630
  • USB 3.1 Gen2
  • Thunderbolt 3 Type-C
I am using a GTX 1080 with the Asus XG-Station Pro EGPU enclosure. After following this thread and I am able to see the alpine ridge thunderbolt 3 controller as shown below.

but under the thunderbolt section it is showing "no drivers are loaded".

I already tried unplugging the EGPU and halting the bootloader, plugging in the EGPU and letting it boot but that doesn't seem to be doing anything. Anyone have any ideas on how I can proceed from here? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi guys, @LeleTuratti

We have some significant progress on thunderbolt full tree Here .. but always many issues to make all operating feature.

Hello @LeleTuratti,

Could you please help me to have hotplug on an Asus X299 Deluxe II ?
I tried files from KGP but They only work for add-in cards and on my motherboard, ports are included.
I get them working without hotplug with SSDT-DTPG.aml and SSDT-TB3.aml 3.1.

Thank you.

Apologies... mis-fire

Uh, sure, but mine are for a Gigabyte Titan Ridge AIC for a Z370 (see my build info) -YMMV. If you need to edit it, my Thunderbolt lives on RP21, so replace the value as needed using the MACiASL app. Mine was originally written by @kgp . It could be that this is okay for an X board (I see you're using an X99. Anyway, it's not firmware and just goes into your EFI<Clover<Patched. Make a bootable EFI backup so you can go back and yank out these patches if they don't work.

Also, see E.7 (scroll; it's down a ways...) at https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...o-x99-successful-build-extended-guide.227001/
@jiffyslot I am looking for an SSDT for a Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 5. Do you have such an animal that you can share? Thank you.

This one is for RP21, the TB card installed in slot 4.
