Hi all, I have issue with AirPlay in Catalina 10.15.3: I can't enable AirPlay Display, this is my spec and config. I don't know how to define exactly, sorry my bad English.
I follow this https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/integrated-and-discrete-graphics-working-together.128226/
What I did in clover config.plist:
  1. change SMBIOS from MacBookPro12,1 to iMac16,1
  2. Enable Graphics/Inject Intel
  3. Change ig-platform-id from 0x16260006 to 0x16120003
Then reboot, but not working, my hack can boot but very lag after restart system 3-5minutes.

Before it's normal with Graphics/Inject Intel disable and ig-platform-id 0x16260006
I remember in the past with macOS lower, my hack is enable default AirPlay as soon as install success!
Please help me, thanks so much!

@oldman20,

The guide you followed is very old (dates back to 2014) and that method is now depreciated ...

The current method used by most users these days to enable and configuring an IGPU is to use Lilu + WhatEverGreen.
See this guide for more information :-

You should probably go back to using a mobile SMBIOS rather than a desktop one as using a desktop SMBIOS on a system that has a mobile CPU can cause issues (mainly to do with CPU Power Management).

The only MacBook Pro to be released by Apple with a Broadwell CPU was the Early 2015 MBP so you should really be using the MacBookPro12,1 SMBIOS.

AirPlay is dependant on using the correct SMBIOS and IGPU PlatformID, you also need to be using a Broadcom based WiFi/BT card that is supported in MacOS :-

As you have a Dell laptop it's quite possible that you have a DW1560 or DW1820/DW1830 already installed in which case you just need to install the Lilu Plugin's AirportBrcmFixup and BrcmPatchRAM which you can download from the acidanthera GitHub repo here :-

Cheers
Jay

@oldman20,

As i mentioned in post #2 for native WiFi and BT in MacOS you really need to be using a Broadcom combo device.

Support for Qualcomm Atheros devices is slowly being dropped by the Hackintosh community as those device are no longer natively supported in current versions of MacOS.

You might be able to get the AR9002WB-1NG working for basic WiFi and BT connectivity but it won't work with the tightly integrated features of MacOS such as AirPlay, Continuity, Handoff, Sidecar .. etc, those features will only work well with a supported Broadcom device.

Both the AirportBrcmFixup and BrcmPatchRAM kexts only support Broadcom devices.

Supported Broadcom devices are listed in the guide I gave you in post #2 :-

Cheers
Jay
