well done!

also your hardware profile needs updating

Motherboard.. "Don't know" ... you don't know the make and model of your laptop? you should also list your intel graphics under graphics section as well
I was going to get the motherboard from CPU-Z when I got Windows installed later :).

I have encountered another issue though. I tried to encrypt the disk after installation via FileVault, however, after a restart, it did not show up as a boot option anymore. Is there a guide for this on here?

"motherboard" should list your make and model of your laptop like mine

Dual boot with linux, to disable dGPU ... It's needed if acpi_call method is used

Hi everybody!

Thanks @Gius96 and @Bucaro for this awesome guide.

Thanks for it, I successfully installed Mojave on my MSI PS63 M laptop.

But I stumbled with audio.

I have been tried to inject id by Clover Configurator in Devices/Audio, tried that guide - An iDiot's Guide / Chapter 5, with no success.
If open Hackintools and go to Sound tab, I see nothing. No audio devices. If I apply HDMI fix, I can see with Hackintool only HDMI audio device and have no working speakers or headphones.
I checked audio in clover boot loader with F7 and it worked.
I can see right audio devices in DPCIManager (attached screenshot): my Realtek audio, or (if HDMI fix applied) both Realtek and HDMI.
My audio codec is ALC298.
I also tried VoodooHDA.kext and other solutions I have been found.
I have Ubuntu linux on my laptop previously installed and sound has been working on Ubuntu as well.
I know about issue with dual boot disappearing audio. For this case I once shutdown laptop, disconnected battery, waited enough time and no more booting Ubuntu after.

I appreciate any help.

Apple alc doesnt work for that codec?

Look like this.
I see at the AppleALC support page, that ALC 298 is supported and with plenty of layout ids. Within ApppleALC ALC298 info.plist I found no id for any MSI models. Even 29 id is for Lenovo X270. But I think it doesn't matter and codec must be compatible. At least I must see audio device with Hackintool.

Also, I haven't alc-layout-id property for HDEF.
With latest version of lilu and appleALC properly installed via Hackintool at L/E.
IRQ fixes doesn't help, spoof audio doesn't help.
Also, tried again latest voodooHDA installer with no changes.
I think to try and research about kext debagging. May be it will help.

I have successed with headphones sound by VoodooHDA)))
Speakers not working now, but not a big problem
p.s. speakers working!
