Hmm..is this related to sleep mode?
Didn't had any problems so far with any USB devices as I did with my girlfriend PC when I installed Mojave onto it...
All USB peripherals were working out of the box...
Well I just leave sleep mode off for CPU and turn it on only for the display...
Overall I am very satisfied with the Catalina installation process once you know what to look for..like when using RX 5700...which suddenly turns dark when you don't use the pikera flag for the installer (o;
Main problem I have right now that on every reboot it claims that the host name is taken and assigns a new mDNS name...dunno if this is the cause that Adobe CC fails to login forever..
Anyway...thanks for the great community here
