Here's why I would avoid buying that Yeston Card no matter what claims they make.

Look at all the 550s on Newegg. https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?d=RX+550+

Not a single one has a VGA connection. There are no RX 560s that still have a VGA port.

In a Hackintosh the GPU port layout matters. If it's not reference for the card it's going to create trouble with your hack. After looking at that you ask what Vbios does it use ? Is that even going to work if it's really a Polaris 21 card ?

Don't buy this to use with macOS. Windows 10 should have no problems with it.

The only 550 that might work would be MSI branded and be using an RX 480 graphics core. I've not tested one or heard of anyone who has. If someone does please report back here whether or not it works.
I can confirm this card works perfectly well. I use it every day in this hack.

Hi, first time Hackintosh builder here.

bought an Hp6300 i5 for 25 euros and an MSI GT 710.

Going through the setup right now (I want to install mojave instead of high sierra btw), but one thing doesn't seem a 100 % clear.

In step 5, It says;

Your selections for making the Unibeast USB Installer should look like this. Do not inject Nvidia when using a GT 710, GT 1030 or GT 1050 (Ti) graphics card.

I downloaded the mojave unibeast and multibeast tools and mojave software is downloading right now. but my question is. what do does the DO NOT INJECT Nvidia mean? to me it seems like i shouldn't have card in while installing but is that correct? first time user here, so the question might be dumb but i just want to be sure

When you are creating the Unibeast USB it offers the option for supporting older Nvidia cards. You don't need that. The 710 has a UEFI Vbios so it will work. You can leave the 710 installed for the Mojave install.

Thanks for the quick reply! I just wanted to be sure before I messed something up that wasn't fixable later

Yes I was super lucky, the guy had an office with like 5 units and this one was the last one left. It looks brand new, it had the card reader 'upgrade' as well. I bought the gt710 2 GB for like 15 euro so and I put a 120GB SSD in for 20 euro so all in all for 60 euro im done

Is it normal that it's been 'stuck' on this for the past 40' ?
