[Guide] Lenovo Ideapad S340 Laptop on Catalina

Yes. It's working with Mojave, but not with Catalina. I didn't even try to get it working with Catalina, as it has no benefit for me and Mojave is working great on all my hacks.
Yes of course, definitely the best choice. I don't know why when I installed a clean copy of Mojave from usb, the trackpad didn't work. Looks like we have the same hardware. Did you do something in particular on Mojave? Or just used the clover folder from this guide? Maybe now I'll give it another try, gonna install it another partition

No, nothing in particular. I started with this guide and EFI.
I've attached my EFI folder, if that helps. If you use it, insert/generate your own serial numbers, etc.

Of course, I'll generate my own one. Thank you very much, I am gonna give it a try soon! Creating my Mojave usb right now :) Do you have Mojave 10.14.6?

Yes, 10.14.6
The downloadable version has a build number of 18G103. There is a separate update to 18G2022, via Sys Pref Software Update ( or possibly online combo update package).

Tried with Mojave, but no luck. Trackpad still not working. And the thing is this: in preference sys - trackpad I always have this, like he is looking for a Bluetooth trackpad.. Getting crazy :D Anyone knows if that's the normal trackpad preference panel when the trackpad is not working on hackintosh ?

@4mit do you have the HDMI AUDIO output working on your pc? When I connect to my tv with HDMI the quality video is perfect but the audio comes from the pc instead of the tv and I can't change that. How can I fix that?

Checked HDMI Audio. It works.

You need to select the HDMI audio device from the little speaker icon (volume control) in the task bar.
The device is also available in sound preferences. In apps like VLC you can see it under Audio>Audio Devices.

If you dont see your HDMI audio device, try another cable. HDMI audio will not work if you are using some kind of HDMI to VGA/DVI converter.

Yeah I'll take a look at the HDMI audio thing. In the meantime I am trying to figure it out about the trackpad reading and trying a lot. May I ask you (since you have the working trackpad) your apic PIN number (my is 0x50) and if you can tell me on Ioregistry - Io service - GPI0 what is the name written (my is VoodooGPI0CannonLakeLP).

There you go.

That's normal behavior on any hackintosh when a trackpad is not found. My desktop system does the same thing.
Did you try my EFI? Just curious if it didn't work for you also.
