Motherboard
Asus Z390-plus
CPU
i5-9600K
Graphics
RX570
Mac
  1. iMac
Mobile Phone
  1. iOS
I've got my configuration running but 'About this Mac' shows only 6 mb of video memory. I'm reading and working to get this fixed 'cause I want to work with graphics apps.
In Clover Configurator the model is 19.1, seems quite reasonable, Intel Core i5 9600k (3.7gHz, 9th gen)
When I check Hackintool I see other values, in association with the onboard GPU.

I've installed Lilu, Whatevergreen and worked around this steps. I did not succeed in the 'Get the device path of your IGPU:' steps.
I assume I have to generate a kext to be inserted in the config.plist, pointing towards the correct GPU hardware. But how.

Please help, thanks, see attachements.

I have an Asus TUF z890-plus gaming mainboard with the Intel HD630 or Intel UHD630.

Thanks

Wow, quick response! Can you please explain what you did? I want to understand!

what can i do after my mac won’t boot with this one?

haven’t tried yet.
Thanks @pastrychef

I just simplified the config.plist > Devices > Properties section and changed your system definition to iMac18,1.

You can't boot with it???

I feel little hesitation by putting it in place and rebooting ‘cause mu cpu make a definition of 19.1. Why did you put my profile on 18.1? I am not saying that you are wrong, though.
Thanks for the explanation!

I changed mine with yours, @pastrychef but no change. Video memory stays at 6 mb and the version 14.2. Any clue where to dive and dig? See attached.

iMac14,2 is in your image

yes, and i think I need 19.1 (intel core i5 9600k 3700mHz). How do i get the 19.1 profile?
your choice, but i would have gone with pastrychef's efi to test

you can use clover configurator to generate smbios

Lol, 18.2 didn't work but luckily I could use shell to replace the malfunctioning config.plist with the saved working one.
Still Hackintool can't recognize my core i5 generation which should be 9th (i5 9600k). Everything else works on my machine. I only have problems with the onboard gpu.
