Do those old cards support Metal after using the patch?

According to screenshots, Metal remains unsupported for those cards.

Whatabout Geforce 7500?

I don't think so. I tested on my Gigabyte P55M-UD2 - Core i5-750 - NVIDIA 9400 GT (built in 2009!!) Had to boot with NVIDIA Inject = True.

Here are the relevant screenshots:

I also wonder if this patch is similar to dosdude1’s patchers that you have to update that patch before performing a system update.

Here are screenshots from another old system I just tested. Seems to work pretty well!

Can you give some precision about how to install the patch? I suppose you have to install the OS first with a supported GC then patch to use the old one?
I've got a GT210 and no other GC (not even internal), I'm wondering if I could install Mojave or Catalina using this patch in some way? (may be piloting the install thru screen sharing or Remote Desktop?)

This is an installer so you should have a working Catalina install before you can use it. It is installing older kexts to System/Library/Extensions folder so updates if they replace the Extensions folder will kill the fix but you will just have to run it again. So it looks like it has Sandy Bridge HD2500 support and it should work for the gt210.

I am running the original 2011 CustoMac Mini on a 2500k (Intel HD 3000).
I tried a Catalina install on a fresh SSD and it successfully boots independently but only has 1024x768 pixels resolution. Will running this installer automatically give me 1920x1080 or is that a separate issue?
