[Guide] Lenovo Legion y530-y540 Laptop on Catalina 10.15

@xiaoM4095 do you have a new method or drivers to get numpad working using efi 3.0.1?
For the sake of convenience, I unified the implementation methods of numpad for y530 and y540, but there are currently some problems during boot-up. The subsequent solutions will be updated. You can enter "setleds" in the terminal to enable numpad.

Hello dudes, is this guide able to run on a y740 i7-9750H, RTX 2060 ? I have tried to run it with switchable graphics but it kp, running only on the discrete card works but with 7MB video memory. Would I need to do some different DSDT patching myself ?

Great job on your guide, sorry if it is off topic :D.

Thank you about the guide. Look, this EFI works on y7000, y530 and y540. Any Related questions about EFI ask them to @xiaoM4095 he is the creator

I asked Lenovo dealer what kind of m2 drives they install - its KINGSTON 500GB A2000 M.2 2280 NVMe SA2000M8/500G. Is it going to work with catalina?
ideally Samsung nvme is the better options, but only way to know is by trial and error by installing on it with nvme efi options during clover installation under customs installation. if there is too many errors you can always changes its nvme to Samsung one if there is a options to open the laptop and switch parts.

For what I've seen and from trials that AMD discrete cards is solely options without any headache cause its harmonize with macOS better than NVIDIA RTX as of now, unless someone found a workaround solution. only NVIDIA card works is the 900 series on high Sierra with its designated web driver, hope it helps .

USB-C 3.1 to DP cable arrived (brand name I-Tec), but I get no signal to my 4k monitor, not even 1080p. Tried enabling thunderbolt in BIOS which didn't help. I thought maybe DVMT prealloc is too low (heard that 128MB is needed for 4k), but since I have no signal maybe it's a different problem (specific cable or configuration of BIOS/config.plist).

Fortunately, I found a solution to numpad on github. Looking at this, I have integrated it into the script.
Code:
sudo sh -c "$(curl -fsSL https://gitee.com/xiaoMGit/Y7000Series_Hackintosh_Fix/raw/master/Script/Optimize.sh)"
