Thanks a lot mate! so you are on Catalina and fully working?

Yes, other than the webcam requiring a sleep-wake cycle after every use everything is working fine.
Something I didn't include in the EFI directory is a generated SSDT, I suggest generating one yourself using ssdtPRGen.sh and stuff that one into EFI/ACPI/patched. It'll enable Power Nap as a Power Savings feature also.

hello everyone, everything works well on my Catalina except when I wake up from sleep I don't have sounds. someone had and solved the same.i use alc hda on clover and 13 or 23 for layout id but is same problem
thanks and happy new year to the whole forum

Hi, I've been away from the scene for a while but recently got my hands on a XPS 9343 with i7-5500u... can you please suggest the best MacOS for stability and battery length ? Do you have a DSDT(SSDT) for this CPU ? Sorry really rusty on this, last hack I did use was on 10.10 and a while ago. What I'm after is a set of working files so I can try here too...

Feel free to use my EFI directory posted earlier as a starting point, you need to generate your own Serial Number though. You can use the Cloud Clover Configurator for that.

Thanks! Would that be 10.14 I guess ? Also OT does the charger plug of your XPS is quite loose too ? I mean it can spin around freely, was it a design choice to make sure if someone trips on the charger the laptop doesn't fall too ?

I'm using it on 10.15, and I'm not sure if the VoodooInput version in the folder was compatible with 10.14 back then.
Yes the charger can spin around, there's not much resistance to it, though I'm not sure how easy it is on your device.

Yes sounds like mine.

Sorry the steps are:

- Make a 10.15 stick
- Install Clover on it
- Copy your EFI directory on top.

Sorry!!! just a long time since 10.10...
