[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Thank you for the feedback. Will check it on a family member’s Mac soon. (The script was edited on a Windows laptop.)

I just tried with v3 and that ran fine so it is something in v4 that is amiss. I even rewrote the first line of the script in case there was something odd in it (#!/bin/bash) but that didn't make any difference.

I’m wondering if Windows changed the end-of-line character or added any other silliness. Will check it on a Mac soon (currently 2500 miles away from home).

How do you enable the DGPU instead of the iGPU for video processing?

I'm running a i9-9900k with the Designare mobo and a Sapphire Pulse RX 580 with OS 10.15.1. I tried both iMac19,1 and iMacPro1,1 and while H264 processing and HEVC works with both configurations it appears that it only uses the iGPU. The first VideoProc screen shot is with iGPU disabled in BIOS and the second is with it enabled.

Thank you @CaseySJ
I will clone my ssd and then i'll try to update following your advice.
@CaseySJ
I tried to update weg and lilu according to the guide but I had a kernel panic.
The version of lilu is 1.4.0 and 1.3.5 of weg.
Here below a shot of kernel panic

When we update files in /Library/Extensions, we need to run Kext Utility to rebuild the kernel cache. AppleALC should also be updated in both directories.

Enjoy your Christmas break, especially that far away from home. If you let me know when you have checked it, and I will test again. In the mean time I'll revert to V3 as it runs fine for me.

I used kext utility, but I haven't update AppleALC in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/others

@CaseySJ I've made the adjustments from the post. I also went in and tried to see if it was something with the ACPI file the disables the onboard WiFi chip. Only because that was something I didn't have in my original build that didn't have the sleep issue. Is there any other suggestions as to what I could try? I've tested it a couple times, and I just left the computer on for a period of time. Normally between the 5-10 min mark, it shutdown and goes back to the Clover menu.

Guys, is anyone experiencing issues with the stop? If I leave the computer on for a couple of hours, it is impossible to wake it up - actually the computer is up and running with no video signal. I have to turn it off manually and power on again to be able to work. Any ideas?
I´ve got the same behavior here, and I need to hard reset the hackintosh then. Sleep in general is working fine. It takes a relatively long time to wake up in comparison to my "real" macs, though.

Hello MISTER @casey !!
First of all, merry Christmas !
You said you have an eGPU connected to one of the TB3 ports. I have one, too. But I don't see in the menu bar the connection-disconnection icon for this eGPU. Do you have it ?
Furthermore, you note the need, with an MSI 5700, to install from iGPU. This is it confirmed, or can we still try the installation from this discret (because my friend has a processor without iGPU (9900KF) ?
And you, do you have a Sapphire?
Thank You !!
