I could install macOS Catalina on my Surface Book 2 15 inch
i7 8650U
Intel UHD 620

The installation completed with my setup on clover but unfortunately I can't load the OS itself and it's just crashes on
IOConsoleUsers: gIO ScreenLockState 3...

The issue doesn't exist on installation and after this line, the UI gets loaded.

I just attached my Clover folder including all kexts, drivers, patches and origin.

Have you solved this problem?
I met the same problem and cannot find a solution.
I've tried multiple versions of clover and the ones the others claimed workable in Mojave.
But either they stuck at the ++++++
or when I remove the aptio thing in driver64UEFI,it spit out a lot of patch errors.
I search on the Internet that the problem you and me both have is GPU-related.
I don't know how to patch dsdt and have little time to learn since I'm a student.
I hope that you can look through the gpu part of the dsdt and probably disable it properly and help me out.
Thanks.

You should add EmuVariableUefi-64 kext instead of aptio mem fix.
Also you need to use 0x59168086 and 0x59120000 for Intel AFTER you could load with 0x12345678
You also need Rehabman’s plist for 620-630 etc GPUs.
I almost solved that on Mojave but I still have one single issue
While I can activate acceleration, my monitor goes black after IOConsoleUsers. I can see the display through Anydesk but my monitor shows nothing

I've done some research and I think that your black-screen problem is somehow related to the SMBIOS settings.
Maybe you can try altering some of the settings of SMBIOS.
I don't have a MacBook or a Hackintosh VM and I'm a student with full schedule.
So I have little chance to try it myself.
Please send me a copy of your EFI folder when you solve the problem.
Thanks.

I'm a student too. Medical student and Intern

I think I know the issue. The display won't support anything other than 3:2 and I can't set a 3:2 custom display by any way.

So, have you solve the problem?
If so , please give me a copy of efi
