It works flawlesly thx ! If you have time can you explain how you find out the correct patches? I’ve tried yesterday with the kernel and iHex, managed to find out the correct one for xcpm_pkg_ but the performane one, nope.

I just checked mine with the latest version of VideoProc and I've got both H264 and HEVC fully working.

EDIT: I should point out that I am running a headless configuration with SMBIOS 19,2.

My upgrade was as advertised and painless.

macOS 10.15.2 (19C57) took 24 minutes to update for my computer.

Inspired by members in this thread, I added the ACPI patch for updating to the latest stable UEFI version (F14 for Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 3) and installed HEVCEnabler.kext this time. Now the booting duration for macOS is shortened to about 12 seconds, and the HEVC acceleration for my RX 580 is finally enabled on macOS.

As AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition (19.12.2) is also released for Windows at the same day, this is quite a big update day for me.
