An iDiot's Guide To Lilu and its Plug-ins

Yes, I saw that in some WEG guide, I will change now to "0x0".

I checked all and looks ok. I will try one more time to boot from Disk, but I think that I will get the same result... The screen turns off during the apple loading screen... Looks like the macOS load ok, but screen turns off and I can not see nothing...

Thanks!

@jaymonkey I found a config.plist file in another post, I tryed and now all is working OK!

. Boot from Disk without problem.
- No glitch or blank App.
- Intel HD Graphics 530 1536 MB (About Mac)
- Match with Hackintool (check the post above)

But on this working config.plist the config is with InjectIntel= Yes + ig-platform-id + "Change HECI to IMEI" "change GFX0 to IGPU" and other steps not includeds on WEG guide...

I attach here both config.plist:

bad_config.plist : Following WEG guide intruccions with no success

good_config.plist: From another post from an user with similar problem.

And ok.. Now is working well, but I really appreciate if you could check both config.plist and let me know if you find where was the problem or if there are something wrong for a perfect setup. (will be nice for another users with same problem)

Thanks for all!

@Maesito,

I've examined both config files and the differences are very apparent, the bad config has a lot more ACPI fixes which may be unnecessary and there are many other subtle differences which might have contributed to the issues.

The good config has a few settings that may be contributing to the system now working (not the ones you list)

There are far too many differences for me list here.

You should examine the files yourself, the best method is to use a file compare application, I use "Beyond Compare" :-

Having said that there are cases where users do have to add certain IGPU settings such as those that you quote in your post in order to get things working but it's pretty rare as WhatEverGreen should set all of those ....

I'm not 100% certain of why this is the case, possibly bad BIOS code or ACPI tables.

You could try turning them off one at a time until either the system either boots without any of them and WhatEverGreen is doing all the work or you identify which IGPU setting(s) is allowing the system to boot ok.

Cheers
Jay

Thanks for all @jaymonkey !

I will do everything you propose to me, comparing the files and turning off one by one. Let’s see if I find the best config. and I will try to leave WEG working alone.

But at the moment I’m happy with the results. Step by step :)

Thanks!

I'm struggling to get handoff to work on my Hackintosh. I have bluetooth and wifi working with a Broadcom BCM94331CD chip and AirportBRCM Fix. Anyone have any suggestions?

@jschaef250,

Handoff has always been a bit flaky, even on real Macs.
Installing BT4LEContinuityFixup can help to get it working some of the time it's detailed in Chapter 7 of the main guide :-

My platform is HD4600, Mojave 14.6
I still can't enable FrameBuffer.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I have some question about this quote
"PlatformID to 0x0D220003 (Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200) and device-id to 0x0412 (Intel HD 4600)"
After doing these actions, Do I need to edit Device Properties, not just fill graphic - platform field& devices - Fake IntelGFX ID?

@WarrenZhou,

The Azul Framebuffer is one of the more tricky ones to get working on some systems.
Did you read the special note in the main guide :-

you need to update your hardware profile

Attached file is my system info from Hackintool
